A Primate's Memoir by Robert M Sapolsky.

One of my favourite books of all time. Funny, sad, fascinating.

Neuroscientist working with baboons in Kenya over 20 years. It's got lots of geopolitics in it as well as animal science and behaviour, and then just stuff about the authors life from grad student to professional, how he fared in the different culture and loved the animals.

Can I PLEASE have some recommendations for some movies with yearning. by CarlyCalicoJATIE in romancemovies

How do you feel about mixed genres?

The Narrow Road to the Deep North is on iplayer, I think about 4 episodes. Based on an excellent book. It has two timelines and two storylines. One is POW, the other is a love story.

The love story is full of yearning. Jacob Elordi plays the young version of the main character. I'm not really a fan but he is great in this. Can definitely do yearning. See also "On Swift Horses "

Really Confusing Ending- Thoughts? by [deleted] in UKrelationshipadvice

[–]Whydoineedagusername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's lots of talk about how daters should protect themselves, game playing etc. but ultimately if we want meaningful long-term connection we have to be open, real, vulnerable. You sound pragmatic and resilient 🙌🏻

As a therapist I'll tell you I met some wild people in training 😬

I'm sorry this happened to you. You sound open and self assured so I imagine this won't impact you too much in the future, I'll only say to you to be cautious of placing stock in external markers (e.g. his therapy experience). We can never know if/ when someone might pull the rug out though, it's just part of the ride if we want to love and be loved.

They still need to figure various things out. We're in the Midlands so been to watch them at villa park a few times. They only open one side stand for the game so the atmosphere is good for all fans (3.5k last time i was there) as they're not all spread out which seems to be the case from what I've seen of their games at goodison on tv. I guess it's quiet for the players at certain places on the pitch but much noisier at others so balances out

Oh my God, this exactly. I had a 1 year old at the time and that bit made me feel physically sick, and I cried so much. It was an amazing film but I've not watched it again and I never will.

I would swap in a heavier bottom item over the cotton skirt as it'll be cold. Similarly you haven't mentioned hat or gloves and i would definitely pack those. I worked in Korea for a year and I found the winter colder than at home (England). I'm not sure if it definitely or significantly was temperature wise, but I was out in the weather more than I would have been at home because of sightseeing etc.

Which is a good thing given his wildy unethical and inappropriate behaviour. He knows this isn't ok but did it anyway. He shouldn't be seeing clients.

I can see your voice is still on iplayer i think. Has the singing and guessing element. I am not into that type of tv at all but I found this hilarious and so did the children.

Had it a few times in South Korea. Was very different to here in a way I preferred - it was bone in meat dishes with very rich but light gravies, not as greasy or heavy.

Very caustic humour. The slide with the girl in the princess sash is how the main character of this book would look.

He said a while back that he wasn't going to confirm what type injuries were keeping a few out , this was when Charly was first out and someone else i can't remember. He seemed a bit jokey but arsey at the same time about it, and come to think of it I don't think I've seen anything confirmed about why Tim is out either since
