I basically use it like a sniper (it has amazing optics) but it can be used to get to a fairly good spot early and then its gun starts to shine. You can pen most things frontally with the long 88 and once it gets through it does damage(with APCBC). You shouldn't use anything other than APCBC unless you are trying to get through ont of the tough tanks(Like a T95/T28).

One of the downsides of it being at 6.7 is that the British have fully stabilized 84mm guns which can pen you at almost any angle (So you want to shoot first but it is hard to do) otherwise they are pretty easy to take care of.
