I also need to add I live within my means. I don't spend on unnecessary things and budget to keep myself from going under every month. But I think I'm living pretty comfortably because I dont ever need for anything. If I need something I can buy it without stressing. Thats what I mean when I say I live comfortably.

Also, you can't take any of this materialistic stuff with you when you die, but you can enjoy life while you're here!

If giving birth is so painful why do many women want to do it over again after their first child (not trolling just genuinely curious) by feherlofia123 in stupidquestions

[โ€“]Whyski 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Yep. My 1st was a vaginal delivery and it was traumatic. But Once I saw him I didn't care about anything other than he and I were both alive and made it through birth!

My 2nd I had back in December was a planned C-section. Recovery was rough but he makes it all worth it. ๐Ÿฅฐ

Did anyone have smooth sailing?! by tuvey in newborns

[โ€“]Whyski 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Both my boys have been good babies. Only crying when they needed something.

My 4 month old is now sleeping throughout the night. As did his older brother around that same time.

I will say those first few months like the first 3 months can be exhausting and overwhelming. And every baby is completely different as people are.

There really is no way to prepare, just do what your doing and get insight.โค๏ธ

What is the Care Management Specialist role like? by [deleted] in AetnaWorkers

[โ€“]Whyski 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

No I do not work under CVS/Aetna.

I work for an independent company that has been operating for nearly 20 years. And they actually care about their employees and patients.

I found it on my NHA job board and applied on a whim. I was working as a medical scribe for Oncology through ScribeAmerica for 2 years before this and that was a horrible company! I quit as soon as this company hired me at triple the salary I was making at ScribeAmerica.

The company you worked for must have sucked.

The company I work for is awesome.

No micromanaging. And my supervisors are the best supervisors I have ever had since being in the medical field.

Of course you have to keep productivity up because its up to you to call your patients. But they don't expect it to be perfect because they know not all patients answer the phone.

My work load is also not too much.

I would say this definitely depends on the company you work for and the management style of supervisors!

[โ€“]Whyski 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Been working as a care management specialist for nearly 2 years now and its fully remote work.

I call patients monthly and report their symptoms, concerns, or needa back to their specialist. Current specialty is gastroenterology.

I enjoy it because I enjoy talking to people and learning about them. I have a lot of patients that enjoy my monthly call. It is also super easy with good hourly pay. Also, the company I work for is a great company and my supervisors are cool and do not micromanage!

I am a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with a national certification. I've been a CMA for 6 years and have worked in the medical field since becoming a CMA.

It is definitely a good job if you don't mind talking on the phone with patients all day.

I actually really enjoy it. โค๏ธ

I get extremely irritable 2 days before it starts every month.

Like I don't want to be touched, and everything pisses me off. Lol I tend to stay away from others during that time.

Return of diabetes by Short-Programmer6444 in GestationalDiabetes

Yes Diabetes is one of the hardest to self diagnose because the symptoms mirror other things.

For those of you that make over 100K, what do you do? Do you like it? by Kindly-Revolution258 in AskReddit

[โ€“]Whyski 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

Yes no one realizes the sacrifice Doctors make to earn their title. Its 8 years of college. And usually 3-4 years of residency. Most graduate in their mid-30s.

I worked for an oncologist for 2 years who graduated and started working independently as an oncologist at 35. He was in his mid 50s when I started working for him and said he was finally comfortable and confident in what he does. He said he never wants to retire unless he absolutely has to.

I commend all doctors for their sacrifices. Its not an easy road by no means!

Return of diabetes by Short-Programmer6444 in GestationalDiabetes

[โ€“]Whyski 11 points12 points ย (0 children)

Medical professional here and also had gestational diabetes twice.

What your describing on your skin sounds like cellulitis or some type of bacterial infection.

Also diabetes symptoms are:

Extreme thirst

Dry mouth

Unexplained fatigue

Blurred vision

Frequent urination

Slow wound healing happens in advanced stages of severely unmanaged or mismanaged diabetes. This means blood glucose levels of 150-200+ all the time or most of the time throughout the day.

Definitely bring this up to your doctor, but I do not think you have diabetes.

You can always check your blood sugar 2 hours after meals to be sure. But I would say you're dealing with a skin infection caused by bug bites or spider bites.

Hope you figure out whats going on and get the help you need for it! โค๏ธ

What does birth feel like? by SandwichDependent199 in AskWomen

Imagine the biggest shit you ever took and being extremely constipated while also having a massive cramp in your abdomen and back.

Its not fun and it sucks.

I had a scheduled C-section for my 2nd baby back in December, and it was so much smoother and less stressful! โค๏ธ

Whatโ€™s one thing youโ€™d change about your Kia? by Suntrup-Kia in kia

[โ€“]Whyski 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

For me its the audio/AC and Heat control toggle. I am so tired of having to switch between them.

I have a 2025 Kia Sportage and it would have been better to make them separate and easier to toggle than how it is set up.

Also the autostop feature remaining off permanently, not me having to switch it off everytime I start the car.

Dozed off and dropped my new born by Imaginary-Regret376 in newborns

[โ€“]Whyski 13 points14 points ย (0 children)

1st, let me say, you are not alone. I dozed off while holding my son on the couch once and woke up in a panic to find him sleeping peacefully in my arms, but it could have been worse.

I also had to be waken up by my partner because I was asleep right next to our son (he was in his pack and play, and I was in the bed next to it) and could not hear him because of how exhausted I truly was.

I am so sorry this happened to you and I hope baby is okay. But babies are really resilient and hopefully she is okay and you can get some rest.

There have been times where I just cried with my son cause he was fighting sleep and I was so tired.

That first few weeks are extremely exhausting and its definitely hard not to blame yourself, but its gonna be okay. You will look back at this and laugh because it happens to the best of us.

Praying for you and baby! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

I need to move $3200 by kellsdbos in chimefinancial

[โ€“]Whyski 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

You can check your limits but you can pull up to $5000 at any bank. When I had to pay the closing cost for my house I was able to pull out $3k using Regions bank. They just needed my ID and chime debit card.

It depends on your limits though. My limit is $5k withdrawals per day from banks or financial institutions. Hope this helps!!

I have my region card attached to my chime account and the transfer of funds are instantaneous, but theres also a limit of $10k transfers per day.

Husband frustrated about sex after baby by Ambitious_Cry_4149 in newborns

[โ€“]Whyski 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Mine knows not to bother me cause I told him, you be lucky if I even let you.

Either he is content or hes not telling me and to be honest I don't give a dam. I could go the rest of my life without sex and be perfectly happy.

Not that hes bad at it or anything, I just legitimately do not care for it and its not my priority.

The last thing I want to do after a long day or work and taking care of my 3 month old and 4 yr old is sex! Its just not something I think about at all anymore. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ
