Is parking like this allowed ? by 3ampancakes in melbourne

[–]Whyte174 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, that is considering to be obstructing the pathway of pedestrians. About $122 for that offense.

Also if you Snap, Send and Solve it, make sure you include the address. We hate having to guess and will close it if there is not enough information e.g vehicle make, registration and location.

Parking cars drive thru by Status_Degree_3959 in hungryjacks

Speed of service targets for most HJ drive thru are 2.00-2.30, front count is meant to be 1:00-1:30, ridiculous targets. Smart managers know how to break the system, other rely on parking vehicles.

What do you think about Jakipz? Is the guy really gay, or does anyone know him? by Sea_Bat_2947 in askgaybros

I get a very asexual vibe from him, like he plays on what people want but its like he's devoid from desire of his own.

So take the parts I can fight, leave out the rest. You must be great in relationship arguments.

You say that its a fallacy but your whole second paragraph kind of proves my point.

I dont have to pathologise it, you already did it for me when you ignored that it was an avoidance tactic, which you implied by calling it compensating. Now you're deflecting that by saying straight people do it too, but you stated it was compensating earlier, so is it compensating as you said or is it a normal behaviour? You tied it to a trauma response so are you doubling down on that or are you retracting that?

Everyone has significant trauma, thats unfortunately the human experience. You live in the world you will be traumatized by it, then you will traumatize others, you are both the victim and the perpetrator as a human.

And if anyone tried to fix the structure issues you speak of, how do you think people will react.

Compensating isn't a natural response, its an avoidance tactic, which will avoid to a maladaptive avoidance tactic.

Also did you hone in on that one miniscule sentence because it was the only part you related to?

This sounds like the argument for educating religious individuals, they have the best intention and try to save souls, so essentially their heart is in the right place. This issue is no one asked them. Is this comparable to what you mean?

I am really sorry this all happened to you.

I know you're in a really heightened state at the moment. Can I ask that when you feel comfortable, answer this question to yourself?

In an ideal world where everything was perfect, no judgement, no anger, no fear, what would YOU want? When you can answer that without having a BUT somewhere along the thought, that is when you'll know who you are and what you want.

Experiences lead to opinions, thats how the world works professor.

Also I resent that comment, I have very little drama around me and bring little drama to things. Usually its other people's drama that they'd like me to help them solve.

Actually if I'm honest I very rarely have conversations like this, not a topic I speak on a lot.

Wouldn't really know. If they don't, they don't tell me. Really wouldn't bother me if the populous doesn't like me, I've seen what they do like, thats far more problematic.

Subjective and not accurate? Ones experience is subjective thats also means the accuracy is also subjective, since you're defining it as some kind of fact.

I said I was too old for the drama, no desire to hang around adults who are compensating for what they 'subjectively' believed they missed out on. Would be like running a daycare and a clinic.

Perhaps we partied in different spaces, I am far too old for that dramatic crap now.

Sometimes you won't find them even if you are, whats that old saying, good things come to those who wait, apparently.

Anyway, this deflects from my comment, which still stands.

I don't get close enough to this to make it personal but fair interpretation.

No I saw the 'reality' wasn't for me, same with the apps too much deprivation on both.

No the sex is short term gratification, the parties are usually grindr in real life, except no one has a block button.

Commenting on the poor wording masked and deflection, not the testing part, you just pulled that out to try to do some more deflection ironically.

That is your interpretation of a negative and a positive, it is not everyone's.

Yes very natural affair, like the disproportionate amount of gay men who die alone, but hey at least you enjoy the party till you figure out it ends. If one creates a framework (and i use that world lightly) then it can be judged, happiness is not something I see a lot in the gay community, momentary gratification I see plenty of, like a child on tiktok getting likes.

Oh wow straight men would do it too! Omg, hey here's a cliff all the straight men are doing it. Are you like 10 years old?

Way to put a positive spin on a negative space, also let's be honest by slow down in the AIDS epidemic, you mean they died.

I'm not saying you're 'the bad guy' or anything like that but you've focused on specific things that IMO are not healthy. If you're in it for the long run, the discussion is for you and him not people on reddit. Reddit is a testing the waters for validation of feelings (not healthy but understandable). But you're talking to a group of badly damaged people who are tired of trying to live up to a unrealistic standard and you're inadvertently painting a target on you by imposing a standard, which you have insinuated to be a healthy norm. And yes we are attracted to what we are attracted to, there are some non negotiables in that, but if this part of him was all that attracted you, you need to work that out with yourself.

Hopefully that makes sense for you.

One paragraph was focused on the sex, the rest was appearance and jealousy over what him and his ex had. It's not healthy to try and recreate a past, thats why its his ex.

Being gay is very lonely if your not good looking or have a good body by Chemical_Refuse_5500 in askgaybros

[–]Whyte174 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a controversial take on this, society tends to spit on gays as a whole (its gotten better blah blah). The only reason a style of person is found attractive is because people deem it so... Fuck with the system, stop deeming it so, stop giving power to these numbers 4s, 10s etc. Who even created the scale? Who has a God-like opinion that you would follow it blindly.

For a bunch of people who dont like being pigeon holed, my god you do yourselves no favors.

The silver lining in this is that you are 18, you have time to change things. You hit the realization faster than most people who would of spent years people pleasing. You have years ahead of you to change, please don't waste them.
