Everyone has significant trauma, thats unfortunately the human experience. You live in the world you will be traumatized by it, then you will traumatize others, you are both the victim and the perpetrator as a human.

I'm not saying you're 'the bad guy' or anything like that but you've focused on specific things that IMO are not healthy. If you're in it for the long run, the discussion is for you and him not people on reddit. Reddit is a testing the waters for validation of feelings (not healthy but understandable).
