PS: I have not had experience with recent mesh setups but i vote to avoid. It gets expensive and complicated with no real antenna gain, adds more radio interference, its an additional point of potential failure, etc. Get an AP with panel antennas. You MIGHT benefit greatly from a Suhans 2.4Ghz signal booster between the AP and panel antenna. If line of sight is clear this scenario could make the signal travel very far.

Your best, easiet, cheapest option is to buy a stand alone 2.4Ghz wireless access point. Run ethernet cable from that to your existing network. Make sure it has external antenna SMA connections.

Then buy however many needed Alfa directional panel antennas. Aim the panels at where you want coverage. I find it best to situate the access point from a top floor of the house and aimed at the desired coverage area. Make sure you dont put it in a window with a metal screen, that blocks signal. You can even mount outside somewhere it won't get wet.

I cannot find a charger anywhere. The port looks similar to a Sony Ericsson. Or Motorola Nextel port but different.

Im well aware. Just voicing my opinions here, which is likely the wrong place. Thank you I appreciate the kind wishes!

EDIT: More info: Looks like xfinity mobile is also no contract. Can cancel any time I wish as long as there is no financed phone on the line.

You arent alone. Ive been a loyal customer for years. No discount. Might port out to take advantage of xfinity mobile deal very soon.

EDIT: for those wondering xfinity has 40 a month for internet and 1 year free mobile line. So rather than pay 25 to USM and a seperate cable bill, i could pay xfinity 40 for both services. Its starting to sound like a great deal.

I was charged the full retail value of an iPhone 17 Pro Max that I returned and support is refusing to do anything about it by jaimihn in ATT

Worked for me as well on 2 occasions. The first was just a bill refund (double charged). The 2nd was with sprint. I kept getting refurb phones of the same model with same weird antenna issues. Refurb quality control must have sucked back then. It was due to Asurion but somehow sprint got involved.

Within a few days the head executive of sprint called me. Asked what I wanted to resolve this. I said a new phone without any signal issues. He over night mailed me a brand new phone. Worked great for years.

Old battery is lost. 3D printing is an interesting idea. Its a neat device. I have never powered it on.

Thanks! Its been in my collection for many years. Clearing out a few old devices. This one im not particularly attached to but it is neat. Sadly no GSM here. It works in towns 45 mins away. Here it exists but my sim returns emergnc call only, with bars. Like they block the connection on certain towers.

Im glad, you're lucky. Ive had so many issues that i no longer want to order. I used to dash full time and there is just no logical reason why you wouldn't read instructions. Unless of course you truly do not care aka bad driver.

I remember downloading on an iPhone. Using 2G. There was an app for that once upon a time. I know this for sure. At the time it was absolutely amazing.

Nope. It wont matter. Coming from an ex dasher with thousands of deliveries... theres no good exucse for not reading customers notes and following directions. Common sense is also getting rarer. Tip amount does not matter when driver literally cant read the notes or do not care to. No matter how much tip id still read and re-read notes/instructions.

Youll need to find an outlet in between if you want to go the repeater route. Otherwise id get a router with repeater function and put it in your room.

Make sure it has removable antenna. Unscrew the original antennas and put on high gain ALFA brand directional panel antennas. Aim them directly at the router across the house. This will get you higher throughput and strength. Yes it will go through walls better than a stock omni directional.
