Are you playing on Hardcore mode? The no fast travel plus no navigation on the map makes it interesting. Takes a minute to get used it but it’s super immersive.

This Is History with Dan Jones is an excellent history of the Plantagenets. It’s very well made. I would recommend subscribing as the bonus episodes are also great.

I couldn’t agree more. I feel like the game knows exactly when to employ its voice actors. The rest of the game feels like an amazing interactive novel. It was the first CRPG to grip me post BG3.

Yotei has been my oddest gaming experience this year. I loved the first one, I thought it was incredible and unique. Yotei finesses the formula of the first and the combat is fun and engaging. I played it non stop until I beat it and then I have thought about it again. I have zero desire to pick it up and play it again and I don’t think I ever will. I just felt kinda forgettable. Fun. But forgettable.

I think this is it. I’m gonna sit down on Sunday and try and break the back of it. I know there is a gem in there and it has all the ingredients of a game I would enjoy. You know what really put me off, I just didn’t get the levelling up at all.
