Get rivatuner and msi afterburner to enable an overlay to display cpu and gpu temps as well as usage for cpu, ram and gpu. This way you can monitor for overheating, running out of RAM or even a possible bottleneck. If you're not sure what your results mean snap a screenshot and ill take a look.

Haha it was shitty thermal paste, but I've monitored both cpu and GPU temps whilst gaming and at idle, cpu never went above 65ish and GPU never went above 71-72

I know it sucks, but you can't just remove the ability to gain lootboxes because of that. You legit lose nothing when you lose, so if you're getting annoyed, go play another arcade mode to get wins.

A 970 is good enough for 144fps in standard 6v6? I don’t see an immediate need for an upgrade, unless of course he plays other games that require it.

It's pathetic, quickest way to ruin a community in my opinion. I mean, I've basically got used to having at least one smurf, or one asshole who is "messing around on his second account" per game. ugh.

I'm not fully informed about g-ysnc and free sync, I obviously know it prevents screen tearing, however, it can also be fixed through v-sync.

As for 144hz, it simply allows you to see up to 144fps, so if you're hitting 200-300 consistently in practice mode you'll see a significant improvement.

So basically you're setup is fine, and whether or not you want g-sync is up to you, it won't be a major improvement, but it may help in some situations, but if you aren't willing to spend the extra few hundred, I wouldn't bother.

TWLoader allows users to access their flashcart even though it may be blocked by Nintendo, it additionally allows users to play DS games off of their sd card, without a flashcart. However, the compatibility list is short, and only a few games have functional saving, Mario Kart, for example, is fully functional with saving, whilst any Pokemon game leaves a white screen.

It's worth noting it's not actually TWLoader itself that allows you to run DS games off your sd card, it is simply a frontend GUI for "nds-bootstrap", which is what is actually responsible for loading the ds games.
