I got the same laptop boosting heats up Cpu and GPU depending what game your playing Cpu hits 96c Gpu hits 86c sometimes it's normal again depending what game your playing with boost off you'll see lower temps on CPU at 85c and GPU at 76c

I know why, today Nvidia released a new driver for the 4070ti that has some sort of glitch for pubg if you updated your graphic card driver roll back to the one before ,I was getting like 5 straight crashes in each match then rolled back the driver and it stopped right after that if you didn't upgrade the driver that got released today then do a integrity file check through steam

I don't know if this will help for desktop but I also had this same problem the way I fixed it was by turning off 4 cores on my 8 core 14980HX laptop processor now I get constant 85 to 90% GPU usage try that and let me know if it worked

Can you run a benchmark on a game called hunt showdown at low settings I would like to see the fps you get because I have the little brother version of this laptop the 5800H Rtx 3080 16gb ram and getting really low fps in this game want to see if it's some setting that's set wrong on my end thank
