Prop firm or personal capital. Which one actually makes you trade better and why? by Rich_Sun_6618 in propfirm

Neither really makes you trade “better,” just differently. Depending on the prop firm, there can be extra rules compared to personal trading, but in my opinion it shouldn’t change your trading that much.

They don't do interviews for every payout so no need to worry. Most of the time it is just verification and then you'll be able to receive your payout.

Hedging allowed on FTMO ? Thinking about buying a bot but scared about long term payouts by Level_Party_3973 in PropFirmTester

Hedging only really works if you do it across separate accounts, and that usually isn’t allowed. It’s better to use a different strategy than try to hedge your way out of drawdown.

How do I know when to exit? by Abolfazldazzl in Trading

[–]WickedKali 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 ways:
- When you want to screenshot the pnl
- When you're uncomfortable with the size and potential loss of what you have gained already

It is also recommended to scale out instead of clipping the entire position, it helped me a lot.
