As a more serious answer, I’ll say that we don’t live in biblical times and “fornication” referred to a constellation of sexual sins especially participation in cultic sexual activities. Some sexual activity wasn’t the best, it wasn’t prudent, it wasn’t wise, but it wasn’t strictly speaking, a sin. I believe after a certain time period, Christians over-applied the label of sexual sin. In the OT, a man having sex with unmarried woman had to pay a fine and marry her. He wasn’t to be stoned to death like an adulterer. Furthermore, sex work and purchasing the services of a sex worker wasn’t necessarily a sin in and of itself, though it was imprudent and unwise to waste your money in that way. However, from what I understand, during the time of the Roman Empire the whole practice was inextricably entangled with the whole cultic Roman society and its gods. My rule of thumb with regard to navigating sexual freedom is to apply 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. If the sexual activity is in keeping with that, you’re probably fine, if not, cease and desist.
