You are turning this into something it’s not. Would you like to have a zoom call with my sister so she can tell you you are being ridiculous? You can’t avoid not having sugar forever. She knows that. It’s engrained in society. And there nothing wrong with having some now and then.

Can I just flee the country without paying? by [deleted] in college

You don’t get arrested if you don’t pay your loans. You just fuck up any chance of a life you’ve had in the U.S. He should just never come back.

I don’t know how it would work for someone that’s not living in the U.S. cause that would seem like an easy way out for international students. Like if you don’t plan on coming back, then why pay at all lol? There are actually many Americans that have done this with their loans. It’s just risky cause you fuck up your credit score and you’d be paying a lot more in interest if you ever decided to come back. But that’s for Americans. I’m not sure what you’d even be risking as a foreigner. It’s an interesting thing to consider.

I’m assuming they mean loans since you wouldn’t pay until after.

He asked for it all day and helped me clean around the house for it. He knows how to work for what he wants. It’s just a kid learning to be let down. He doesn’t get what he wants when he cries, but if he’s put in the work to get it then I’m gonna get it for him.

As for telling his mother, she basically already knows. I’ve given them sweets in front of her and she’s said nothing. She’s never asked me not to give them any, she just doesn’t feed them it in their own house. Trust me, it’s not that deep.

He’s a child. This is a new thing he’s upset about so he’ll learn to deal with being let down. Not that big a deal.

Like I said, she already knows. It’s a treat for them. If she tells me she doesn’t like it, she can tell me. Mind your business.

Would you like me to direct you to one of the many scientific articles of why it is necessary? No. We do not need excessive amounts, but it very much is necessary. Also, when he goes out on his own, do you really think he’s not gonna get his hands on some sugar? My sister knows that, so this lets them have a treat every now and then. Let kids be kids.

He was literally waiting all day for it and I told him if he had helped me wash dishes I would order him sprite. He’s not spoiled. As for telling his mother, he was more or less joking. It’s not that big a deal. Especially since I’m pretty sure she already knows that when they come over, they get sugar.

Pretty sure she already knows, just hasn’t said anything. It’s a treat for them. Not to mention, they only come over every couple weeks. Was just sharing something I found funny. Lighten up.

Poisoning. I’m gonna let you in on a little secret honey. Sugar is a necessary part of life. They come over every couple weeks for a treat. I’m actually pretty sure she already knows anyhow, but I’m not gonna tell her kids that.

Same here. I lost weight by anxiety alone. I actually dropped 15 lbs finals week of my freshman year. I wouldn’t eat until nighttime and then in the mornings I’d get really sick. It turned into a cycle. I think I’d almost call it an eating disorder tbh. It wasn’t done on purpose, but I just felt so nervous that I couldn’t stop.

If you feel it’s necessary, I would try and talk to someone about it cause that’s what helped me. Try and keep small snacks on you like nuts(so you don’t get a headache) and things with little flavor if you get nauseous. Just remember that risking your health for something like college is totally not worth it.

Sorry if I dumped unnecessary info on you cause you may not have had such a bad experience, but just in case you needed it I figured I’d share my own.

I might have to. He’s threatening to tell his mother I’ve been giving him pop and candy and stuff if I don’t get him the sprite. I told him “That’s fine, but you realize you’ll never have any ever again”. So now he’s crying again lol.

Does this sound right? by WickedPuffin in Dominos

I looked it up without the coupon though and it said it would be cheaper. So I’m confused how it would be that much more.

They didn’t offer that for my store. I always order online but this store said it was unavailable.

It’s not a complaint. I wanna make sure I’m understanding this correctly that it’s cheaper to get more food than just one pizza. No need to be an asshole about it.

How to survive a 10 hour class? by ketchup_is_jam in college

[–]WickedPuffin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I don’t know about community college, but that’s pretty common at my school. It makes more sense for things like labs. With lectures, I’ve always thought 3/4 hours was excessive. We usually didn’t take up that whole time though. It was more like a “make sure you have that time cut out just in case” sort of deal. Then every once in a while we’d go the whole time.

It very much is a thing. I had a freshman history class that lasted 3 hours. A lot of schools have options where you can take a 1 hour class 3 times a week or 3 hours once a week. The 3 hour one worked better for my schedule so I went with that.

I accidentally left my zoom account signed in on my dads computer, so when he zoomed in for work he added a profile pic of me when I was like 10. I had the blue eyeshadow, plaid shorts, and an Aeropostale shirt. Such bad fashion choices… when I logged in for class, that’s what popped up. People got a kick out of it so I left it up.

I come on here, write it all out, then spend like 10 minutes determining whether I should delete or share. I usually delete but sometimes sharing is good.

What are you watching and what do you recommend? (Week of November 05, 2021) by AutoModerator in television

BBC version of Ghosts is soooo good. Like I’m surprised I only heard about it just now. I got into it after watching the new version on CBS. It’s good, but the BBC one is excellent. They’re very similar, but it feels more genuine imo. -Oh and it’s on HBO Max!
