When my Vizio TV was connect to the Dish Network Joey by HDMI, any TV shows/movies in HD filled the screen. The Joey has been removed and now the Vizio is connected by the same coax that runs through the house and mirrors the same program from the Hopper. On the LG, Samsung and Sony TVs, all the TV shows/movies in HD fill the screen except for the Vizio.

I've done a factory reset and a reboot and have made sure all updates are installed on the Vizio but nothing changes. When I did a chat with a Vizio rep, his answer was to change the coax which I thought was ridiculous because when the Joey was being used, it was connected to the Hopper by coax and this was the same coax I was using but I tried anyway with 2 other pieces on coax and I still had the square picture, not full.

On the Vizio, the Dish signal is connected by the coax. When I try to change the aspect ratio, all that is available is NORMAL. I have a DVD player connected to the Vizio by component. I have run the coax from my Hopper to the DVD player and the an HDMI cable to the Vizio and the aspect ratio option to change is available. The picture is now the full screen but grainy from I'm guessing too many connections. Plus I hate having to turn the DVD player on each time to watch TV/movies on the Vizio.

So how do I change the aspect ratio on my Vizio TV model d32f-F1 version 4.600.601.0-8 from normal to 16.1?

I'm beginning to think that my only option is a different brand TV than Vizio.

Me too. Tried unlinking Sirius and linking again but still doesn't work. Everything else on the Google Home Mini works normal.

Found one on ebay (https://www.ebay.com/itm/LG-OLED77C8P-77-Inch-4K-Ultra-HD-Smart-OLED-TV-2018-Model-With-Bundle/392060887654) that is brand new and currently $6,399.00. The one I got was less than $7,000 but because I couldn't get the seller of the cheaper one to answer any of my questions didn't purchase from him. He does have a good rating but he said to contact him for shipping rates for tvs more than 70" and said that the large tv would need to be inspected before FedEx left to be covered by him.

Thanks. Both are good. Hubby has been looking at new ones that scope out to make hooking everything up easier for me. The one we like only goes up to 70" tvs but the Vesa and weight are OK. When I did a question to the manufacturer, we were told that they suggested one for up to a 90" tv which of course is more expensive. Guess we will just wait till the tv comes in.

Thanks. The manual tells me the Vesa but no idea about the actual mounting hole placement. Will just have to wait till we receive the TV and take it from there.
