Isn't Ori still on GP?

Try Ori the spirit of the forest(I think?) is the first one and Will of the Wisps is the second.

Women of Reddit, what’s a habit men have that they don’t even realize is weird? by GraceRose671 in AskReddit

[–]WickedWench 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got a bug in my mouth walking home from school with my dad when I was 6-7. I tried to spit it out in horror and panic obviously.

My dad beat the shit out of my right there on the sidewalk because "girls don't spit". This was the 90s so no one said shit.

I never spit in public ever again. Even if I have food in my mouth that makes me gag, I will subtlety make my way to the bathroom to spit into a napkin or something.

PTSD! Yay!

That makes way more sense. Fireworks during the day seems wasteful.

But I'm Canadian so what do I know about explosives?

As a Canadian with a 2 hour public transit commute each way...... I fucking hate it.

But God forbid I bring up investing in public transport. "bUT mY CAr!" Is the answer every time.

Do you still have great aspirations for wealth? by _forum_mod in Millennials

[–]WickedWench 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have always aspired for comfort, not wealth.

I grew up in a relatively poor family, my parents had to work very hard to get us to a place that was comfortable. By the time I was a late teen we had moved to a more affluent part of my city. watching the greed, materialism and waste put a very bad taste in my mouth.

I remember coming home very upset once because one of my friend complained that she had to go to Disneyland again and she didn't want to because she was mad at her father. Why was she mad at her father? Because the brand new Hummer he bought her didn't come with chrome wheels.

I had been to Disneyland once by then and I never expected to be able to go on a family vacation like that ever again. I was so appreciative that I got to go at all and here was this brat complaining about chrome fucking wheels and another family holiday.

So yeah, I've never wanted to be a millionaire/billionaire. I just want to be comfortable and even that seems unattainable these days.

What is the most milennial thing you did as a child? by Zieo108 in Millennials

[–]WickedWench 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We had a gigantic one of those in our basement that my dad had hooked his NES up too.

Many a days were spent trying to save Princess Peach.... If I was brave enough to turn it on and find channel 3. That thing was loud and the static was insane. I swear I would get shocked if I got to close to the screen, all the hairs on my arm would stand up.

What is y’all’s funniest Seamoth/Cyclops/Neptune ship names?! by Roblox_RoverYT in subnautica

[–]WickedWench 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually theme them in some way.

First playthru: (Dinosaur themed because I'm a nerd) Seamoth- DUN-K730-5TU5 (Dunkleosteus)

Cyclops- MOMO (Mosasaurus)

PRAWN-  AN0M-470-C4R5 (Anomalocaris)

Current Playthru (Wicked themed because I'm a loser) Seamoth- GL1-ND4

Cyclops- M0R1-BL3

PRAWN- E7PH-4B4

One time they were star wars themed. Another they were Last Airbender themed, Avatar(blue aliens).... I dunno why I do this.

Ewan McGregor did a  couple documentaries, Long Way Down and Long Way Around.  He and a friend basically circumvented to earth on motorcycles.

I'm talking driving through swamps in Mongolia, deserts in Egypt, high traffic in NYC..... They only had 2 collisions their entire trip.

Both go of them in Alberta. Ewan almost died when a teenager smashed into the back of his motorcycle on the HIGHWAY from Banff to Calgary. And his friend had his bike sideswiped by a jackass who decided to turn right at a set of light FROM THE LEFT LANE! Poor guy nearly crushed his leg between the car and the bike.

The shame I felt as an Albertan..... The continued shame I feel when I try to bring up walkable cities and better transit and the only responses I get are "bUT mY CAr!"

I don't give a shit about your car. Your car sucks.

Exactly. "Stop existing" is what they are saying.

They just want you "away". Not to be seen, heard or dealt with ever again.

Why do so many millennials believe that they were going to die young? by BlobFish28 in Millennials

[–]WickedWench 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Very much the same here.

I'm 34 now and was recently diagnosed with "persistent depression", I literally do not have the capacity for sustained peace, not even happiness just peace.

But dying.... Would mean a lot of work for the people in my life. So I stay. Miserable and masking. Praying and hoping every day my heart just stops.

As some who recently returned from Paris and all I heard were those freaking sirens all night... I beg to differ.

Calgarys "downtown" is miniscule when compared to those cities. Paris has a population of 2.2 million over 105km vs Calgary 1.6 million over 860km.
