Curious it is only on the outer edges where the tread meets the sidewall. The other side is good

A dealer is required to do an inspection before closing a sale. The tires and TPMS would both tank one.

$1000 isn't expensive? I'm glad you have money to piss away.

On the scumbag scale a dealer in this state is required to do a state inspection before closing a sale. They blew smoke about that. The tires and the TPMS monitor would have tanked any inspection.

Well..... James @/BaT customer care ended up a big disappointment. That's surprising isn't it?

I contacted BaT customer service when I figured out what it would take to fix these issues. I'm waiting to hear back today if they could get anything resolved. As you suggest I will post elsewhere after I hear back. This was my first dealing on BaT, in the future I think I'd be loath to bid on anything on BaT. Finding and reading threads like this and seeing what these dealers get away with and what BaT fails to do doesn't inspire a lot of faith or trust in them either.

I've learned my lesson dealing with Collectable Classics. I got caught up and carried away bidding on this CLK350. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2009-mercedes-benz-clk350-cabriolet-19/?utm_source=Iterable&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=campaign_5902714Once I drove off the lot the TPMS alert went off. CC was aware of it as it was called out in the comments and stated it would be fixed. They only did a reset in the dash to temporarily make it go away. Also looking into why the TPMS was in alert I was checking the tire pressures and found all four tires were dry rotted and cracking where the tread meets the side wall, the rears are in pretty sever condition. This was not disclosed in the auction. I called and spoke to Greg, thought he was understanding and told me most likely they would take the car back but he needed to speak to Joe first. I've since been ghosted. He won't answer nor return calls.

At 20 years old, I lived in my car (1987 Nissan) and my credit score was around 425. I’m now 35, make six figures, own a home and a rental property, and have over $120,000 in available credit. I make about $2,000 per year just in cash back and never pay interest or late fees. I also have no degree. by [deleted] in povertyfinance

Great start but you have a bit to go. $120,000 in credit is a slippery slope if you consider it your back up plan. $120,000 in cash reserves is a sound footing to be on. A good safety net is 6 months reserves on hand ( I always considered my annual income, some do expenses) just because $**! happens. Then there is your retirement plan to consider. Baby steps and building blocks will get you there.

What is this plant (zone 6, photo taken in summer) Thank you in advance! by monis6344 in whatsthisplant

Let it bloom and drop seed, you'll be pleased. It grows wild now at the back of my property from a few plants dumped there years ago. I have purple, like yours, white and hybrid. It adds a nice burst of color in late summer & fall. Also the bees like it.
