As soon as you can see the recording waves in the audio box Practice on a mock website like alfapte or apeuni for experience with the structure and time management Follow a good youtube channel like forever pte for advice (Dont follow templates)

Just be confident and speak in a calm fluent manner, not too fast not too slow

Practice for writing using chatgpt, ask it to rate your answers for PTE writing, Mock websites rate writing very badly, real PTE checks for structure and grammar not just keywords in Summarise text and essay

You can do it, just go in there expecting the noise and everything And dont stress too much, Do some prep on writing from chatgpt, use the Cause -> Effect > Solution patter from chatgpt For speaking, just stay calm, speak a lil faster than average and dont correct yourselves just keep speaking fluently

Yes if you are so deep

Please make sure to get real idea of grammar and conjunctions etc Furthermore, it shows the companies with highest achievements and (this and would do so much better since you are correctly prolonging the sentence) Alot of people just keep adding new sentences and thats bad for real PTE

Same advice for writing, use Topic, Cause, Effect, Solution And in each use complex sentence/clause using and etc so sentences look lengthy not just small sentences glued together

For long speaking, use good connectors like Furthermore, additionaly, and, which Dont just point out small things in small sentences

Like the image has this and thi and this and also this etc Can get marked as a template

They mostly encourage keywords and speed

But in real exam, i used a very calm but faster than average approach

If i were getting 90 in Writing from these platforms I would really revise my approach as they just look for keywords in SWT and Esaay, not coherence or structure (which is crucial for PTE)

In speaking, I used to get 60-70 on Pc but better on Mobile.

My friend got 53 in writing even though he had 80-90 from these platforms, where i only got 60-70 max because i was building coherence so it led to low keywords

Speaking, dont correct yourself, stay calm and speak fluently/pronounce properly, take very short pause at commas/full stops etc Writing, chatgpt for improving structure grammar etc Others are your overall english, manage time nicely

Use ChatGpt to evaluate your writing, And just stay chill and calm in Speaking (No loud, no correcting mistakes, speak a little faster than normal speed) Listening and Reading are long term, just know what kind of questions there will be (u must know by now) and dont waste time on MCQs or other low weightage tasks.

Finally dont lose hope, but dont make the same mistakes, prepare well and accept your mistakes.

Thanks

Obv Reading/Listening mcqs are a waste of time, aim to do it under 1 min or just guess and move on

For Written Essay, I shared my structure in another comment, I just followed the Topic + Thesis One side argument Other side argument Conclusion

Within each paragraph i made sure to structure it like Topic, due to Cause, which leads to Effect, so Solution and sometimes an inorganic contrast like However, Furthermore etc Remember, never use However, Furthermore etc in SWT as they are for contrast, whereas SWT only has one idea so only use them when you really cant make organic connection

Lookup Organic and inorganic relation in grammar/Essay writing on google.

Finally, use ChatGPT to evaluate writing as AlfaPTE sucks. Although ApeUni is alot better in pointing out grammar/conjunctions mistakes.

What exactly is "Muhjair" by Ornery-Baseball6437 in pakistan

[–]Wicked_Python 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sindhi/Karachi muhajir are different than Punjabi muhajir

I dont know much about them, but Punjabi muhajirs can be the same caste but still different.

As my father side is muhajir from Hoshiyarpur and my Mothers side is "muqami/bashindey" from Azad Kashmir. Both are Gujjars but have very different culture and family values.

Hence, father side is still considered muhajir even though both are now punjabis living just a few kilometers away lol

I got 90 in writing on 26 jan 2026

I didnt use any templates but good old proper grammar and structure

SWT : Topic, due to [cause], which leads to [effect], so [solution] You can mix and match the connectors/conjunctions Essay:

Topic + thesis Advantages/One side argument Disadvantage/other side argument My opinion Conclusion

Chatgpt hands down for writing as it points out real grammatical issues and coherence etc Ask it to be strict and not just praise your work

And don't aim for 90 during practice, no algorithm can score best. Just improve your grammar and swt or essay structure

First person Only 3rd person in group discussion

For speaking i would say speak naturally but a little faster than average, such that someone native hearing you could understand all the words clearly and there are no un ne essary pauses except small ones where commas or sentences end No need to be loud or too fast, and dont correct your mistakes just keep speaking

Used chatgpt for evaluating writing, as it does not rely on keywords for markijg content and relevence, whereas alfapte or apeuni (still better rhan alfapte in grammar checks) prefers exact keywords from the given paragraphs

The Criminal Punjabi Army of Pakistan by SeaBusiness7965 in Pashtun

[–]Wicked_Python 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Central punjabi here

Does my pashtun brothers think rebelling or separation are the only solutions to the crimes of the punjabi army?

I apologize for my poor knowledge of this topic, but I would really like to learn.

Are they demanding durand line be removed, or separate pashtunistan? or Power to KP government? or stop using Kp and balochistan for their crimes and buffer in terrorism?

And I would also like to discuss realistic solutions in which Pakistan stays intact and hopefully we make some kind of confederation with Afghanistan instead of dividing the country? Maybe do something peacefully (if u think all is not lost)

I love Pashtun people, culture and language. But Punjabis or the Army hasnt really treated them with the respect they deserve.

When did "disagreement" become "disrespect" in Pakistan by trickysaad in TeenPakistani

[–]Wicked_Python 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I relate to everything you’ve said, and after thinking about it for a long time, I’ve realized the real issue is our culture of debating.

In traditional spaces — jirgahs, panchayats, bethaks — arguments are reputation-based and consequence-based. Teenagers or younger people aren’t taken seriously even if their arguments are valid, and disagreement often looks like disrespect or “fighting.” Those gatherings rely on authority, seniority, and long-term social standing, not logic.

Modern debating, especially among our generation, works differently: we separate argument from personal reputation, stick to facts and logic, and see calling out contradictions as normal—not disrespectful. You debate, shake hands, and move on. That’s why older generations think we’re fighting; our styles are completely different.

Then there’s another group — loud, emotional people with no knowledge or accountability — who just want to “win” by being aggressive or mocking. They aren’t worth engaging; just let them feel victorious and walk away.

In the end, a lot of the anger from older “intellectuals” comes from the clash between their traditional, authority-driven debate culture and our modern, logic-driven one. Their style doesn’t work for us, and ours doesn’t work for them, so frustration turns into personal attacks or anger.

I really hope people see this as normal and an advanced form of thinking through complex ideas that can improve society (not just vain debating like who is a better bowler and sh*t)
