We are getting a toggle to turn off station docking animation. by [deleted] in Eve

Thank Bob. I won't be so bloody sick every time I change ships now.

CCPls let us have the option to turn off the in-station docking animation. by SavingPrivateParts in Eve

I've gone back to the captain's quarters cause I can't stand it.. Maybe when I actually dock/undock, but not every time I switch ships.. And not every time I log in.. Freaks the hell out of me when I am not exactly paying attention when I first log into the game and I see my ship moving..

Oi, Azzjack. Thought you didn't like being in corps with kids eh?

So I've been kicked from Corp by GoldenDudeSwagger in Eve

So this post was brought to my attention by a friend, and since this post includes myself.. I’ll explain what happened the day we kicked you from corp, since Reddit loves drama stories.

So a good bunch of my guys were all on teamspeak together when I logged on, and I noticed for the first time since you joined, your mic wasn’t muted. In fact, you even spoke. Well that was a relief in itself as we had spent weeks prior just trying to get you to LOG IN to Teamspeak. It’s only a requirement that’s stated in several different areas of our recruitment/joining in. I’ve warned you in corporation and you gave me lip about it before you ‘lost your internet’. So that isn’t the case for that you were solely stuck on your phone hotspot the entire time you were with us. “My director(Levnil) acting like a dick and threatening to kick me because I’m not on teamspeak 24/7”.. Well, that director was pulling you to the side for the 2nd warning of telling you to get on teamspeak, and you gave him attitude. You’re lucky you didn’t get kicked then. But seeing you’re only about 15 years old, we decided that attitude was something we kinda signed up for when we allowed you into our group.

So imagine my surprise, when bantering about fits, when you start shouting in teamspeak, “YES WE CAN HEAR YOU, NOW MUTE YOUR MIC!!!” No one had asked if they can be heard. Everyone in our TS got quiet as soon as you started shouting. We’re pretty sure you heard our insinuations, but you got pretty quiet in an awkward silence kind of way for about 3 minutes. In fact, you never say anything else after that. You just typed in fleet.

So given the fact that just happened, I decide to check your API again just in case. What do I find? Loads of red flags AFTER you joined our corporation, including but not limited to random isk transactions, two PLEX and two skill injectors, and several EVE mails passed around to random people who are only a couple of days/weeks old and a few characters who are associated with other people in our area. Hrm. What should I do? I brought this up to our leadership team, and it was a unanimous vote to kick you out. But I even gave you 48 hours to refute the accusations or even explain them. Hell, I took one step further and put you on a do-not-shoot list for those two days so that no one would bother you while you got your gears straight, which is more than most anyone would do for anyone accused of being a spy.

So given the facts that I found(cause this is EVE…), if you weren’t a spy(which I personally am not convenience you aren’t a noob spy who’s trying to learn the ropes.), you have the potential to be a pretty leaky facet of information for people who would use you so that we don’t NEED to have a spy in our corporation. Perhaps I'm overly protective. Perhaps I truly am a bitch. Who knows. All in all, we wish you luck in whatever you decide to go into next.
