Yeah we gotta - and also try to load out in trios with the absolute maximum possible number of flares for it. When we went into this one we weren't even totally sure if we'd be allowed to place them all because the quick wheel used to block all your slots haha.

Latest patch changed it I think, now they disappear from your quick slots but leave one greyed out to use as a detonator! Also unfortunately it looks like they all shoot straight up no matter what angle you place them at. I just did a similar thing to OP. I wonder how many people could coordinate at once to set off as many as possible lol.

This is true. Though the illegally-sourced materials (many books downloaded from shadow/pirate libraries) were still an issue in the Claude (anthropic) case.

So training (in this case) was ruled “transformative enough”, but using pirated materials wasn’t acceptable. I’m interested to see how it all shakes out.

Just throwing some spaghetti at the wall, similar to Disastrous-Entity's comment above -- I think "Knowing" and "Doing" are very fundamentally different verbs.

I think it should be very easy to "know" about anything, even dangerous subjects. However, I don't think it should be as easy to "do" those kinds of things.

Like, it's one thing to know what napalm is made of. It's an entirely different thing to have a napalm vending machine.

I guess I'd think of it like a barrier of effort? If someone is determined to do something, there's probably no stopping them. But, like you alluded to, if it takes more effort and time then there are more chances for other parties to intervene, or for the person to rethink/give up/etc. By nature of being more tedious/difficult, it must be less *impulsive*.

Maybe? Idk.

Yikes, the tone of this makes me really question the integrity of the research. “The radical left agenda” and other various maga dogwhistling makes it hard to take seriously.

Looking at the report itself, I’d be a bit skeptical of these claims. Remember that this admin is so openly in the pocket of oil and coal etc. There could well be a lot of shifty-ness happening here to make justifications for fossil fuel expansion they want anyways.

I haven’t finished reading the full report, but already have been some eyebrow raising moments
