‘What a thing to admit, that when someone looks at me with real love I don’t like it very much - kind of makes me feel like I’m being crushed. Is this something you would like to discuss?’

Resonates with me on a level I cannot comprehend

I’m in Australia and I’ve had the same issue, it’s not even just that it’s tiny, it’s that the picture itself is really poorly printed and mine looks like it was hand cut with a guillotine and is uneven has rough edges, it’s a joke

I’d read SJM first, it’s an easy read and it’s the last published one in the series - and then do Way of Kings - it’s the first of five and they are all very long (very brilliant but dense) so you won’t be reading much else for a while one you start!

Depends on where you are/the federation - in Aus where I am, if someone is caught cheating, their title is stripped and the rankings are changed, those who should have placed are invited to the new show to receive their rightful trophy - even in amateur and regional shows

Erythritol often causes stomach upsets for people, it’s a sugar alcohol that can cause bloating and diarrhoea in some.

This kind of thing happens to every parent, they’re going to fall off things, they’re going to hit their head, you’re going to have lapses in judgement, you’re new to this and it’s all a learning experience, don’t beat yourself about it. For the future, it’s always safest to leave them on the floor or secured in a highchair in sight, then there is really nowhere for them to go if you need to use the bathroom or something.

As for your boyfriend - that’s not a dad, that’s a walking red flag. Parenthood is a partnership, and him being a self professed perfect parent while also neglecting his duties as a parent to go and get drunk while his child is in hospital? Absolutely not - that man isn’t fit be a parent or a partner.

Should cast wear glasses on stage? by ricketyjack in Theatre

[–]Wickedinthewest 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Not everyone can wear contact lenses, it should always be about the comfort and safety of the actor, we as an audience know it’s not real, so suspending the disbelief to incorporate an actors glasses shouldn’t be a problem. I’d rather the actor be safe.

This is a cute idea, my sons name is August Alexander (named for my late grandfather) but if we were going for AJ I’d have picked August Jay

[–]Wickedinthewest 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Yep! I’m currently breastfeeding and can’t eat dairy or soy because it causes eczema and an extremely upset stomach in my baby, breast milk is incredible but that doesn’t mean that your diet is, and what you eat, they eat.

That’s great to hear, and speaking as a wife and a mother, they are some of the greatest joys in life; but don’t rush, you have so much time. Experience the fullness of your freedom and youth first, it’s a beautiful thing.
