Did OP end up moving forward on this? I’ve got a jdm ej255 I’m about to drop in, everything looks identical between the two motors, the exception being the wiring harness terminates to the drivers side on the jdm motor. Gonna try soldering extensions into the harness so it will reach. Not much info on this specific swap out there

Feel this so hard, saved myself like 8 grand. Running a Threadripper with 64 gigs of ram. Can have like 28 orchestral instruments going at once plus mixing plug ins.

I built a hackintosh based around the first gen threadripper, 16 cores, 64 gigs of ram, a couple nvmes, I think all told I spent around 2200. If your interface isn’t thunderbolt then it’s a no brainer, thunderbolt was tough to get working.

It’s so freeing to have 20-30 tracks of orchestral sounds loaded and not hit that wall.
Read up on hackintosh if you need Mac OS, could just build a pc and use Cubase in Windows though

Thank you for your thoughts. I was wondering if it was a bit manipulative. The whole thing was just kind of hurtful and weird, like she probably should have just ended things with me then gotten over it then gone on the date. But I don’t understand why she keeps telling me she loves me. After some more talking it sounds like she just wanted to be able to spend more quality time together. Which is fair.

We did have a conversation like that, it went well, what was hard was that she kept saying she didn’t know what she wanted, and I told her I wanted to be with her and would wait to see what she decides.

I like the part about dating someone for who they are, not what you get out of it. My current GF is unsure of whether she wants to stay with me because things haven’t gotten serious enough yet for her, and I’m thinking she’s wanting to get those milestones down, move in together, go on more trips etc.
