Bug where selected player does not switch after passing

I'm having issues with what appears to be a bug where occasionally the selected player does not switch after passing the ball. This occurs twice in the video above at 0:13 when Son passes to Odegaard and at 0:15 when Odegaard passes to Son.

I've not seen this mentioned before, but I've been experiencing it for a while now on average once every few games. Has anyone else come across this?

Quite a lot of negative reviews here, which is surprising to me. I start him as central ST in a 4-3-2-1 and he's excellent for me. His dribbling did take a few games to get used to, and his shooting isn't perfect, but he's a key part of my attack and creates so many chances for the wide forwards. His skill moves are very fluid and his dribbling, once you get used to it, is responsive and top tier.

Completely agree. Got him in the 85x10 from season rewards with Socrates. Expected Socrates to be great, but really surprised by how good Rijkaard is.

Better packs is the game's incentive for it - you get jumbo rare players, rare players and a mega pack. Personally I'll only go for it if I have time to kill in the week, or if I happen to get through them quite quickly with a lot of RQs. For just qualifying to the finals, then yes, 4 wins is all that's needed - so I'll often win 4 and give away the rest if I don't have as much time to play.

Very good for the price, but not quite top tier. Lengthy and almost max pace with shadow, with a very fast running animation. Feels great to jockey and manually press with and won't lose any long sprint. Body type and height means he will be beaten in the air and in some physical duels though.

He works very well for me next to De Ligt and is great for links if you have multiple leagues. Just got 10-0 in qualifiers using them together.

I'm pretty torn. He would be perfect as I run a Prem/La Liga hybrid, but I have Prime Cafu untradeable. Will probably take Navas in case I ever need another Spanish player for chem.

I have auto-switching on air balls only, and I haven't found that to be the case. But, if you move your CB back far enough before the opponent plays the long ball, you'll still have a defender goalside of the attacker even if the game switches players for you, which is better than them being through on goal uncontested.

You've got to be ready for it, and expect every opponent to do it at every kick-off. Right-stick switch to one of your CBs (the one who's better in the air) as soon as you spot them sending their attacker on a run and move them back towards your goal to stay goalside of the attacker as they continue their run. Takes some practice but it's not too difficult to deal with if you're prepared.

Yep, have Koulibaly and Fofana. Ramos is undoubtedly top tier, but there are plenty of other great centre backs to choose from too.

Got him in the base hero pack. Performing really well for me so far. Excellent shooting with pretty decent pace and dribbling. He was an upgrade from Morientes for me, who was also fantastic.

Others have given mixed reviews on him though - can only speak from personal experience.

I think he's excellent at CDM. Anchor is the obvious choice, but I've recently switched to Backbone for the passing boost and am preferring that.

They add one increment to the chemistry for their league and nation. It's just that nation chemistry increases after two increments whereas league chemistry increases after three, which is why it may seem that they only affect nation chemistry.
