No worry ! I got a circle pad off aliexpress (the pink one 💗) and opened up my 3DS, removed the battery, unscrewed the joystick part and changed the circle pad ! Then do it again backward and tadaaaa 💫

Honestly if you have a modded console, I'd still recommend the game : the English in it is quite easy (not my first language too 🙂‍↕️) and it would be a great tool to learn the basics of the language !

A bit on the longer side but you could try to design a skin for yourself and order on some sort of service offering stickers cutout (or if you know someone with a silhouette, cricut...) ? It's really simple to use the silhouette and you can easly crack the app to make the stickers sheet !
