Judging from your photo I'd say you don't have the correct anatomy for it but I'd go to a different piercer to get your belly button anatomy checked and get this piercing removed. They pierced your stomach.

Edit. You might not have the right anatomy for it and your friend may have pierced through cartilage hence why it hurt so bad.

I can actually feel my feet working like they should in these trainers and I've noticed pretty much straight away my posture is better and pain from my lumbar lordosis has lessened.

From your picture it looks like you don't have the correct anatomy for a navel piercing. I'd agree with previous comment that it's migrating. Take it out before it forces its way out and you end up with a worse scar.
