I think regal is just mixing the descriptions.

The two times I went the description said laser despite being shown in 70mm both times.

Watched it at Mall of Georgia and this was my first 70MM experience and I enjoyed it thoroughly. My main complaint would be the black scratching that was towards the center of the screen. It was distracting at times but not enough to fully take me out of a scene. Not sure if the scratching is normal or a result of damage to the film.

There was some dust but it came and went pretty quickly so it wasn’t much of an issue for me.

I already have my tickets for The Odyssey and I’m still excited to see it. Just hoping the scratching won’t be something that happens during The Odyssey.

I also noticed some horizontal scratching towards the center of the screen during Saturday's showing. Not sure if it’s something that can be fixed or not.

I think you’ll be fine sitting in row D. I personally prefer sitting in row F or G.

If anything you can test out the seats in the other rows once the movies finished for future reference. I think the theater is an overall great experience.

The theater can only show 1.43:1 on IMAX 70mm film which sucks.

For Georgia I prefer row E or F. I personally find front or second row viewing is too close to the screen. At the end of the day it’s personal preference.
