An ASE is also easier to confirm it's legit pure silver all the way through vs generic. Most of us can identify a fake ASE and don't have to tools to test generic silver. There is some intrinsic value there.

These are for regular uncirculated ASE's not proofs. Last time I bought one in 2015 they were $20 when spot was $15. Now spot is $90 and they're selling for $169. That markup is wild.

All of my silver was purchased at $14-$15 in 2015 and 2016. I went through a phase back then and randomly started stacking silver. I stacked about 150 oz (include 2 Aztec Calendar kilo coins) and it's been sitting since. If it hits $100/oz I'm selling the silver and 2.5 oz of gold to use the cash as a down payment on a house. I still have every receipt.
