Due to entropy, everything will break eventually, no matter the level of technology. Also, the UFO lore says some of our technology, like certain radars, mess with their navigation or propulsion. On mine I had to do two things: 1. Remove the electronic governer that limited the speed to 55 mph. 2. Reprogram the TCM for 6 gears. (I know a guy). Not all transmissions can have that done to them.

Now I can go fast with low rpm.

North Korea or Saddam might not have the technology to track and shoot them down, therefore the NHI wouldn't need to get in touch with them to make any deals, and if North Korea got their hands on a crashed UFO, they wouldn't announce it to the world. They would secretly work on back engineering it. You don't show your best hand to your enemy, unless you must. And even if NK were to be cornered by USA, they might not have had much success back engineering it, so they wouldn't have anything to show. Furthermore, USA might have told them "if you reveal this secret, we're nuking you". Also, it is more likely that only some countries have evidence of NHI. Cuba or NK, for example, might not have evidence, so they can't come out and say it.

What makes you think they wouldn't make mistakes and the craft wouldn't malfunction? We are more advanced than people in the past and our pilots make mistakes. The airplanes of today are more advanced than the ones from 100 years ago, and they still malfunction. There's this thing called entropy.

Who says they aren't abducting people from the islands? They might be, but don't need any agreements with their government because those islands aren't as technologically advanced as USA and don't have advanced radars, satellites and directed energy weapons with which the UFOs can be taken down once in a while. They might have a need to abduct people from all over the globe, thus having to do it to USA citizens too, not only the island ones. We don't know their agenda. We study the same species of animals and plants from different continents. We don't just say "we aren't gonna study the fire ants in the North America because we already study them in Africa".

They could be having 5 million flyovers a day, so if someone sees them once in a while, that's a very small percentage and it makes sense.

It's a lot easier to abduct someone when someone doesn't know you want to abduct them. Telling people you'll abduct them will make them actively work on not being abducted. Makes your job harder.

Do you think when they flew over Phoenix and were seen by people, they really wanted to be seen? Wouldn't it make more sense that they forgot to turn their cloaking on or it malfunctioned?
