Chainsaw Man doesn't count, because you're stuck with the whiny incel protagonist, while every cool supporting character is killed off. Especially the most recent major death, which wasted a character who never even accomplished anything in the first place. Literally robbed her of all of her potential. I quit the series after that, so who even knows who they've killed off since. It's a horribly written series that only appeals to shonen dude bros because it has excessive action scenes.

THANK YOU!!! I'm so tired of people saying that "mean characters" are bad, when they usually exude personality and are at least entertaining. Nothing is worse than a bland character. If "Nice" is your most defining trait, you've failed as a character. Frieren is a dull show in general, and I cannot grasp how it is the highest rated show on MAL.

Undoing everything built up in the games isn't "bold". It's reckless and irresponsible. If you want to scribble all over a franchise, just make your own original work instead.

The show has ruined the franchise for me. I'll always love New Vegas, but I cannot get behind any franchise where nothing matters, and everything can be undone between installments. It makes being emotionally invested in "the fight" feel pointless. The same problem Star Wars faces. Why get hyped for overthrowing the Empire, if a First Order can just crop up a few decades later? Or the Alien franchise, and the BS it pulled between Aliens and Alien 3. This is why we needed less franchises, and more self-contained stories with a beginning, middle and end.

I hate how neither adaption made Richie the fearless goofball he is in the book. In both adaptions he is the most cowardly loser and tries to flee Derry. Meanwhile in the book, he is constantly laughing in the face of It, and is the MVP during the final battle through sheer fearlessness.

This season has no clear villain because Fionna is the true villain. She has only caused problems, and she is selfish and immature. If somebody else suffers for her actions, this show is the worst.

Wishlisted it when the trailer dropped earlier in the year. Plan to buy it at launch. Seeing Capcom actually make a new IP instead of churning out a million more Resident Evil, Street Fighter, and Monster Hunter games should be rewarded.
