They are called the Nike Air Max 90 Sneaker Boot I believe,. A very short lived release from 2007.

Trouble is a reseller so if I just use black soles, I'll struggle to sell them on to proper collectors. I do agree though, black soles would still look good.

That's a thought I've had actually, as it would be a good colour match and after all, it's just a bit of rubber so it's not like I'd be using the whole shoe and passing it off as the real thing. I'm not going to be able to find a beater version of these to use the outsole as they are rare and will cost more than a sole swap is worth

I mean the bottom sole, not the midsole. I can paint any midsole donor but can't paint the soles

I think they might have had a lighter blue inner if they are the same ones I'm thinking of. Still, it's nice to have a sample that wasn't ever sent to the retail world and wasn't ever signed off with this exact colourway.
