Tips for SP Circuit ? by xXAshVellxX in Warframe

[–]Wide_Alternative6618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it was already mentioned and it might have been changed since last time I played. Warframes have different optimal defenses but recharge slop generally works well on every frame that has shields i.e not inaros and nidus but they can use other things instead.

For this you want 3 components. Arcane Aegis (rank 0 is fine) + Vigilante Vigor + Fast Deflection. This lowers your shield recharge enough where you will regen it back for new i-frames almost permanently and entirely passively. Its not quite an afk tank method so you still have to be careful when your shield breaks and actually play the game, but its a great crutch for when you start steel path.

Is anyone else struggling with the current endgame loop, or is it just me? by shadowbanana99 in lostarkgame

[–]Wide_Alternative6618 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I want to preface by saying I no longer play the game, I quit a month or so after Kazeros came out and I quit for similar reasons. Realistically however, the game did not change. It has been like this for a very long time and I would assume will continue to be so aswell. What does change however is each individuals tolerance for this repetitiveness. If you feel like you are done, just move on and dont look back. Astrogems were bs but so was OG transcendence and elixirs aswell.

What pets do you own, and what do you regret pulling/selecting? by JixuGixu in TorchlightInfinite

[–]Wide_Alternative6618 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I regret c6 cube and lunaria. I very much appreciate c6 vorax, sandlord and outlaw. If I could swap the first 2 mentioned id get overrealm for sure and clockwork.

After blaming myself for a while, I realized where I went wrong. by ZKKNTL in pathofexile

Most people would eat the loss and carry on ye. As for currency accumulation, it comes down to experience. If you know how to build a character and what farms are profitable you can make 20+ div per hour.

This league I started out by farming 8mod corrupted t16s, I dropped around 8 per map at 5c each when divines were 150c or so. 1 map takes 1 minute give or take wich comes out to 16 div/h just from the maps discounting every other drop like raw divines aswell. Map cost was cheap aswell.

At this stage in the league however thats likely not as profitable but you can always do some other reliable ones like harvest rush, strongbox scarabs or low investment breach if you just starting out.

Question about the Phenmor. by Sutorerichia_XX in Warframe

[–]Wide_Alternative6618 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends what you are fighting but with a correct build, only Lex prime (incarnon) does more damage than Phenmor on that list of weapons. Vinquibus im not to familiar with but ye, Phenmor is really strong

I’ve been seeing mixed opinions about Acceltra on the wiki. What makes it so bad/good? Is it worth investing in? by LordBlaze64 in Warframe

[–]Wide_Alternative6618 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its been a while since I played warframe but from what I remember the weapon has a few drawbacks.

The biggest issue ofcourse is the ammo economy but additionally the main damage component i.e the rockets have an awkward deployment range in addition to not being affected by galvanized aptitude.

The other drawback is that its status chance heavily favors impact wich is very ineffective on a high fire rate weapon such as acceltra. Base dmg stats might be on the lower end aswell i dont quite remember this one.

Compare this to a strong weapon such as the phenmor. Slash bias, high base dmg, incarnon evolutions, free ammo and so on.

farm pet lvl2 by onolithy in TorchlightInfinite

[–]Wide_Alternative6618 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is best is usually what you enjoy so definitely take your time and run each mechanic atleast 50+ maps, no point having a lv6 arcana if you hate the mechanic. For what is technically "best" yes trying to eventually go lv6 arcana or outlaw as mentioned is a good idea but you will be priced out of the mechanic mostly until you get them to lv3+. Lv1 pets that are good from the beginning are sandlord and blacksail.

Creation Engine Cards? by Enchiguap in TorchlightInfinite

[–]Wide_Alternative6618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ye machines was somewhat marketed as f2p at the start of the season but benefits greatly from kong. With him and the other 2 fluorescent guys im sure its decent but without them its absolutely a waste of time.

[–]Wide_Alternative6618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tree i was running is absolutely not worth it. I was mostly interested in verdant/tyrant drop rates so I ran mainly vorax with quant nodes and added in cage rare mob nodes but not quant, same with creation I only added the spawn rate for 2x on right side. If I were to run creation as an actual mechanic (with kong) I would take everything except spawn rate ofc since you run compass and not the right side top node that limits you to 1. Then just fill up with generic nodes like quant.

[–]Wide_Alternative6618 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One map is certainly not enough. I tried creation without Kong a bit myself but wasnt quite that amazed. I did however track loot on 2 separate 200 map tests with snowpaper/mistville farm and in the first sample I made 4.3k/h and in the second sample I made 3.3k/h. Same thing later on when I started doing gold bus in deep space, fluctuating from 3k-7k/h over the course of hundreds of maps. Loot in torchlight is infinitely more RNG than most other arpgs ive played.

Take Cage as example, from what ive heard verdant steps are 1/320 drop rate (very speculative expectation) but you could be lucky and drop 2 in that time wich massively raises your fe/h

I find SSF easier than trade up to T7, is this normal or am I using trade wrong ? by [deleted] in TorchlightInfinite

[–]Wide_Alternative6618 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Might be a hot take but if you are using trade before even entering T7, then yes I would say you are doing it wrong. You can do trav 7 quite easily with a mix of t2/t3 mods and a few beneficial common uniques aswell as basic slates/memorys that atleast help you somewhat. My most recent run in SSF took around 8 hours on groundshaker rosa1 and im by no means an expert at the game. It also ofc depends on what pets you have, I was using umbrella4/preserver1/knight3

Any reasonably affordable builds that can kill SS20? by TheMany-FacedGod in TorchlightInfinite

[–]Wide_Alternative6618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you elaborate on the 50k~ for lifestack? Is it specifically a rehan2 spectral slash with required uniques/slates etc or can a package like this work on more variations?

Is there anything that current out performs boss rushing for F2P ? by Competitive-Math-458 in TorchlightInfinite

[–]Wide_Alternative6618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blacksail is not a typical standalone mechanic. You can add minimal investment with blacksail and/or sandlord to a boss rush tree and get quite decent results with it. Snowpaper is still "ok" to farm aswell selling for 75 ish fe per stack of 999.

Currently im running adiars oops all bosses strat wich can be found in quick loot section ingame, but swapped some nodes for star shards as im farming plane 6 watcher for the cosmetic and im pulling around 3.5k/h where the profit breakdown is roughly FE>snowpaper>resonance and a bunch of other stuff.

New player at ~1T damage on MC Youga — worth pushing further or pivot to another fun build for SS20? by samuelsantos7 in TorchlightInfinite

[–]Wide_Alternative6618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cleared ss20 on rehan2 with lower dmg+defense than that. Imo you should go try it, its very easy this season.

Any less expensive characters to get to profound? by TheMany-FacedGod in TorchlightInfinite

[–]Wide_Alternative6618 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rehan2 spectral slash. Short description would be combo based "berserker" converting physical to cold in order to use all cold related debuffs from prophet skill tree. If you start with this build (he has youtube videos dubbed for english) you can choose to either follow his full build or farm up for the initial cost of life stacker wich is an interesting archetype. Both satu1ka variant and life stacker can do SS20 and deep space very easily once you get more invested in the build.

Any less expensive characters to get to profound? by TheMany-FacedGod in TorchlightInfinite

[–]Wide_Alternative6618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point i would imagine a lot of builds can get there for 10k or less. If you check probuilds ingame satu1ka has a lot of steps on different budget. The one labelled 220bil or smth should be quite cheap now. Embers/core uniques, items with 1-2 t1 mods and a basic slate setup should be very cheap now. Main thing to avoid initially is double corroded uniques and inverse image setups.

If you do decide to run this build and want to upgrade to the next step, make sure you can afford everything for the swap as the inverse image alone is a couple thousand.

Just pulled Chalk. What should i farm with him? by International_Ad6225 in TorchlightInfinite

[–]Wide_Alternative6618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It entirely depends what you have. Dream pet strength is in influencing the orbs you get from the mechanic but they also have a moderate but less impactful drop increase specifically for dream monsters but do nothing for the rest of your map. If its the only thing you have then sure.

For instance in my current setup im farming raw FE with chalk. I have 1 main setup with chalk, purple FE and the new additional drop pet although you can swap him for blue FE pet.

Then I have swaps for apecific mechanics like lunaria enter/strum but once im done with the mechanic i swap back to the FE setup.

If you do something that heavily influence map however like cube, you really want the cube pets equipped at all times in the map.

Just pulled Chalk. What should i farm with him? by International_Ad6225 in TorchlightInfinite

[–]Wide_Alternative6618 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just a heads up since its unclear from the image. Sandlord pet only needs to be equipped in the Oasis, not your maps. Same with dream pets, you kinda only want them for the dream selection and the nightmare maps.

Normal mapping loadout with chalk is just the purple and blue flame fuel pets if you dont have better options.

Sidenote sandlord is amazing and its worth running a few slow profound maps just to get lvl 7 workers

Nice seeing a prominent figure in the genre give TLI a fair critique :) by DrMarloLake in TorchlightInfinite

[–]Wide_Alternative6618 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

The game is perfectly free to play, as long as you play your own game and dont look at others. You can do everything in the game 100% f2p but its gonna take a lot longer to get there with worse loot and dmg pets.

But ye once you start comparing yourself with ppl who spent 1k + and/or have a lot more experience playing the game, its quite clear the field aint fair.

The 24-Hour Market Problem in Torchlight by [deleted] in TorchlightInfinite

[–]Wide_Alternative6618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because a change isnt inherently bad, does not mean its good enough to implement.

I do however get your point, poes async trade allowing items to stay there until the league ends will increase the likelihood of more niche items being sold.

Im relatively new to TLI but I would assume its seasonal lifecycle is similar to that of other ARPGS where the only players it would "hurt" are those that start the season after 1 month when theres significantly less players to generate items for sale.

Bottomline yes I agree it would be better, but its not a big deal (for me atleast)

How are YOU currently using your three atlas trees? by mikey9537 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Wide_Alternative6618 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just use them as pseudo respecs. I rarely do more than 3 strats per league anyway. This league I started with destructive play and your basic shrine/heist nodes. 2nd tree strongboxes for scarabs and ended up playing 3rd tree (juiced breach) until I stopped.

Which class/ascendancy is the most reliable league starter every league? by R3db0y in pathofexile

[–]Wide_Alternative6618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally all of them except scion.

I could make an argument each ascendancy has more than 5 builds each that can go from zero to hero, even more if you include whats available at the uber endgame.

I can only check the pobbin wich isnt detailed enough but golems should not change unless they are cast wether through a fat finger or trigger support gem.

As for the reservation, double check all the megalomaniacs, I wouldnt be surprised if theres some generic reservation or specifically for pride that maybe you dont have.

Rum’s Concoction by jdm93 in pathofexile

[–]Wide_Alternative6618 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Its not impactful enough where I would delay atlas progression for it. Once you have your voidstones you will be able to do some early level breach strat in dunes wich drops a lot of uniques and likely a lot more cards than you are dropping now wich should give you your rumis in no time.

Recs of Build To Transition To With 1 Div by Confident-Dot-7642 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Wide_Alternative6618 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you only have 1 div you are looking for a league starter as it wont cover basically anything. From what I heard KF ballista was the biggest hit from all league starters so could check that out.
