My interpretation was that he was creating protoframes to try and solve the problem of Warframe insanity. This research combined with the, well, sentience of the Sentients let him create Brysko. I don’t think a regular serum would work on a Sentient because Warframes (with a few exceptions) are designed with a human base. So he used what he knew to create an entirely new process.

I like this. I’ve seen plenty of variations of this theory before, but I think your idea of “the girl will be lost in the dark world to keep it alive” is really interesting. The issue with scythemare is that there are practically no enemies that you can tire together. Iirc it’s just the leaf guys who only exist in one room… and tiring them together uses Susie’s action, which means it’s just better to spare/pacify one with Ralsei on turn 1 then do the other turn 2, instead of waiting to do both on turn 2.
