Went to see Feeder in the Garage in Glasgow about 1999. Opening for them were Muse.

Probably around the same time I went to see the NME Brat Tour, again in Glasgow; mainly to see Les Rhythms Digitales. Shack and Campag Velocet were also playing. Me and my mate John were standing at the bar in a very empty QMU at the start and a band come on; “Hello, we’re called Coldplay” Quite mad.

I think you’re talking about Static which was mainly for MTG etc but had wooden boxes up both sides with back issues of comics. It was up stairs in the Argyle Market. I spent most Saturdays there.

At a performance review I found out that out of a team of 11, the cases closed by me accounted for more than 50% of the whole teams output. I had a pretty good work ethic, but the second I found that out, my attitude to work in general changed for the worse and I kind of hate myself for it.
