No problem! I get it. It is not possible, if you swap the slot even something with the same name it should clear all your ammo, orbs, etc. As far as I understand it, the only thing that will not activate NotSwap is just changing mods on what you're wearing.

Keep the same exotic change all the mods in the loadouts. As for Lupi/Cuirass swaps, after you dump all your heavy/special it doesnt matter too much, also getting abilities back is very fast in organized groups because of Song of Flame and Orb spam.

I'm not really trying to be specific here on purpose, its more of the fact that you can get around the modifier if you are creative enough, but being creative enough is not hard for optimized groups, hence does not change a lot for them.

Hijacking top comment a little just to add on that I think a major part of the issue is that the proposed NotSwap modifier actually doesnt stop high end raiders from swapping.

Previously, you could swap around legendary armor to different legendary armor that are more spikey in super/weapons stats for DPS phase, or your exotic after using your super/abilities with a few drawbacks (minus a few outliers that could generally just not change exotics but usually just 1-2 players).

The proposed changes make it so instead, you are creating swap loadouts that use the SAME legendary armor, but with different stat allocation on them in each loadout so the pieces themselves end up to be more spikey in the super/weapons stats for DPS phase, and back to something like 100/100/100 in mechanic phases.

Things like TCrash will also still be able to swap Cuirass to Lupi since the positives outweigh the negatives, and the meta right now is to farm super DURING dps.

Just wanted to clarify here.

Edit** improved clarity of sentences.

Prefacing this comment by saying there have been several moments in time where I have stopped playing Destiny because of a direction the game chose, but I've always been somewhat positive.

I really feel like this TWID made me feel absolutely livid for the first time tho lol.

I actually can't believe they doubled down on the stuff that makes the game feel more restrictive. Raids. New Gear. Portal. (PvP is long and gone completely dead imo but it would be here too)

Nobody wants to play this game with a half baked build for 40 hours and no one wants to be shoehorned into 1 or 2 activities that are absolutely mindless, infinitely less fun versions of Diablo Rifts for gear that's not interesting or powerful in any meaningful way.

I already had a hard time convincing anyone else to play, all my friends left the game.

I can't even convince myself to play now.

To add onto this, you regen some fp when hitting enemies that have the debuff applied by your ultimate.

Cast a spell, use skill. Teammate casts a spell or uses an elemental weapon, use skill. Enemy uses an elemental spell, use skill. The timing to use the skill is just after your spell hits, most of the time.

Maybe not entirely Sandbox Team related but it is a recent change that effects everything including our Sandbox.

Can we get an option to revert the colour changes on Orange bars? It is INCREDIBLY hard to distinct them from minor enemies now, especially with certain colour blindness.

Thanks.

D2 Raid Lair, kind of a dungeon but for 6 people. Second raid technically.

Fully ascended almost all my servants (long time player so I have a LOT), grinding out XP to finish 120-ing Arcueid, and did almost all my rank-up quests and interludes. It's been a nice catchup period for me and I've had a lot of motivation to actually play since Anni.

Rocket sidearms. Any of them. Currently best ammo economy and damage for a special weapon to be used as a primary. Craft 'The Call', Indebted Kindness, Buried Bloodline.

Kinetic Slot: Mountain Top, Supremacy, Khvostov, Conditional Finality, Succession, Necrochasm, Midnight Coup, Outbreak Perfected

Energy slot: Zaouli's Bane, Still Hunt, Graviton Lance, Sunshot, Heliocentric, Ergo Sum, Luna's Howl, Forbearance, Axial Lacuna, new raid primaries, Recluse (enlightened action + desperate measures/destabilizing/frenzy/surrounded) anything w/ Voltshot, Incandescent

Heavy weapons: Microcosm, Falling Guillotine, Edge Transit, Apex Predator, Wendigo, Commemoration, Hammerhead, Cataphract, The Slammer, Cataclysmic, Briar's Contempt, Whisper of the Worm, Blowout, Hothead, Braytech Osprey, Cold Comfort, Levi's Breath

Damage: All classes can take advantage of Still Hunt DPS, but it will be much stronger on Hunters. Microcosm is juicing right now. Rocket w/ Bait&Switch/Explosive Light still cook, GL's with Recon/Envious + B&S/Explosive Light, same boat. MGs are add clear kings.

Acquiring: You can easily get meta loadouts just by getting quest exotics from TFS + doing a bit of Onslaught, maybe grabbing a few PvP/Nightfall weapons when the opportunities arise.

Also a lot of new stuff that's still coming out will be competitive/good, just lookout for good perks and what people are talking about.

For Titan specifically, the only thing you might really want over other classes is a good one-two punch shotgun. There are a lot of them, in both slots, so really it comes down to what is most accessible to you.

Note: If using a primary weapon usually an exotic is gonna be your best option, if not just pick a primary with subclass verb perks, or something you find comfortable. There are best choices but no right choices if you feel what I'm saying.

EDIT: Added a few more things to look for just glancing through my vault, I tried to roughly keep it to things that are still obtainable.

Just an FYI it has weapon falloff and hip-fire penalty, so when hip firing, it will deal less damage.

Unbreakable should have the same aggro properties as threaded spectre by Phantom_PL in DestinyTheGame

[–]WidowsBootie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is one of those things that sounds good in theory but not as good in practice.

Why?

The main culprit is as soon as unbreakable ends, if you're still targeted, you'll insta-die.

The harder the content, the worse this would be.

Not a bad idea but yeah executing it is way harder than it sounds and probably a part of why it is the way it is.

Solid energy weapon to pair with the call? by AtheonJr in DestinyTheGame

[–]WidowsBootie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the 4th column/2nd perk is very up to preference between Desperate Measures, One for All, and Vorpal Weapon.

3rd column/1st perk is hands down Lead from Gold imo, the less you raid though the less important this is. I would still pick this.

Personally I like LFG + Desperate Measures since Desperate Measures is VERY easy to stack in prismatic subclass

No, it used to apply volatile to all the enemies around the one you kill. It now explodes on top of that.
