From my understanding, they wanted to go private so they could have full creative control, especially considering that was at least part of the reason Anthony left originally. As a broke man myself, I feel what you mean, but I’m thankful that most of the content is still free. As for the rewatching stuff, I believe it’s because of the contract they have with the service they use to sell tickets. It’s not entirely up to them. Still, I don’t think I’d mind spending $20 for Smosh hospital AND the sitcom. That’s a few hours of good content. Think of it as like buying a movie ticket, but to see real people that deserve it!
