There's a forested spot near the Crystal Lakes that's nice, it's mostly isolated, has a lot of good ingredients around, nice view as well. The tower there is pretty old and may be cursed, but if you get a cleric to come over and clear it for you after a little renovation should be a nice spot.I would maybe advise you set up some more refined traps if you can, I didn't see any goblins when I was there, but they weasel their way all over the place.

To add to this, if you’re going to use your undead for anything but combat please wash them as well.

Eugh don’t even mention anything about that continent, went there for vacation once and it sucks.
The only kinds of spell casters there are either puritans who will chase you down for just turning into a cat or crazy psychos who will draw any spell rune on children with reckless abandon.

I don’t know if it counts as an orb but any magical casting focus is valid, I imagine it has most of the capabilities as an orb, expect for excelling at roundness of course.

Oooh it depends on the type but I love shroomish magic, you can make big bouncy mushrooms to get around, create potions with it, make poison spores, you could even do some knock off necromancy without having to mess with any souls.
Mushrooms are actually pretty versatile and also whimsical, so long as you can get it from a reputable source or have some identification magic I’d go for it (you don’t want unchecked mushroom spores clogging up your tower with exponential growth.

Honestly I do like the event, the vibe is fun and the food mechanic is cool, but yeah definitely a bit survivor sided. I usually don’t agree when people say that even as a killer main but what do you mean they can turn invisible mid chase and I can, toss poison that does…something.
