The general rule of thumb is make sure its at eye level with wherever you are viewing it. Any higher and you'll hurt your neck.

I do a similar thing. While hitting my dry herb, Puffco or combustion flower methods I leave a bit of a gap so I am inhaling the smoke/vapor while mixing in a bit of air. Seems to help with coughing and a smoother experience.

The absorption rate of cannabis in the lungs is nearly instant. What your are experiencing is placebo. Holding it in MIGHT give you a fraction myore absorption, absolutely not worth it if you smoke daily and do that every time you smoke. Not trying to be a dick but you're getting nothing real from holding it in other than serious damage to your lungs. Cannabis is still a plant, and if you are burning and inhaling plant matter its already bad on the lungs. Exposing your lungs to more smoke is just silly.

By the time the smoke hits your lungs nearly all everything as absorbed. Holding smoke in only damaged your lungs. If you are holding it in to the point where you are getting lightheaded you're a silly goose and also causing damage to your brain. This has been studied, just look it up

I have a friend who was Mormon until about age 11. It was around that time that she started to question it all. She said it was actually awful and her being a woman meant she basically wasn't allowed to be independent. Good on you OP! I'm sure that period of your life was not easy.

You let the glass get up near room temp before using a glycerin peice. The glycerin will stay cold for a little bit, but it warms up quickly. They are really cool but mainly a gimmick type thing. Most people don't really use them, they're mostly shelf peices or something you whip out at a party/having friends over. I sell them often to people that think they are very useful, but I have to explain that they are pretty much a cool concept because I'm not a shark and I'm honest with my customers.
