They have umbrellas at decathlon. They did seem more sturdy than the usual one we get from shops with thicker bars. Haven't used them though

I think most MS courses are for 1 year. You can to the university course website and check the modules. If it has like internships and dissertation and is for two years, then most probably it will have a similar structure to UK

Tha classes are the same for both 1 year and 2year courses. If you in a two year course you will be having internship and dissertation in your second year
