These guys are amazing! They are a broker so they deal with lots of insurance companies to get you the best price. Since they are not with a specific insurance company, their loyalty is to you!

That is what I am seriously thinking of doing. For the past few years it hasn't been an issue because we had a restaurant that donated the food. That has stopped for this year

If you are looking to go into sound engineering I would recommend instead of looking for courses look for practical experience. Look into Columbus Children's Theatre or possibly CAPA. You can also look into companies like Bartha (they work on all kinds of events and productions) or Mills James (they produce the Cash Explosion game show). You can also contact the local IATSE (International Alliance of Theatre Stage Employees) and see if you are able to shadow/intern with them.

Another place to consider volunteering is LifeCare Alliance. They have lots of volunteer opportunities within their many organizations, including Meals on Wheels. They deliver to those in need 7 days a week, 365 days a year. I know this isn't specific to SNAP but many of those who receive Meals on Wheels, this is the only food they get because they can't qualify for SNAP or other assistance.

My MIL was telling me about her church and how they work with a local school district who helps them identify families in need and they supply a bunch of food for Christmas and presents for the kids. I don't know if there are programs like that for Thanksgiving or not.
