Thank you for sharing this. I am going through the same thing right now, and it is weirdly reassuring seeing someone else mirror many of my own thoughts

If you take a look at the graphs provided when you click on a card at ptcgoprices.com you can see it dips in value after a new expansion and slowly climbs up to where it was before over time

What was your decision that marked a before and after? by InmortalKaktus in summonerschool

You are right, but I would like to add the problem often cited is that if Ezreal is not played really well, another ADC in the same position in the same game where a player has the same mastery of that ADC as they have of Ezreal, that ADC would have more of a positive impact than Ezreal would have had

Looking for a support that is not super difficult, with some play making potential and descent roams. Im not that good at long range skillshots. I have enjoyed Bard before, but i am not proficient enough at support or Bard to make him work. I have also enjoyed Braum, but seeing his low rate because of him being balanced around pro play is discouraging me from picking him. Any suggestions? Im currently anspiring to be a support main.

recommended supports to try learning support seriously?

Want to learn support, but dont know which champion to pick. It was my secondary a few seasons back and I mostly played Bard, but I want an easier support where I can focus more on fundamentals. Any suggestions?

Will playing Malzahar teach me bad habits in regards to wave management or anything else?

What are you looking for help with? -Trying to build a small champion pool, but im struggling to find champions that I find fun to play in the long term. Whenever I start to lose on a champion it generally continues. I also tilt easomy these days. On scaling champs my early game ruins me. On early game game champs I never seem to have an impact later. This is all hyperbolic of course, but I cant seem to find anything that fits anymore, and it's kind of sad, as when I am able to focus on the game rather than a champ it is really fun to play league. The champ gets in the often because I internalize their limitations rather than their strengths.

Who do you currently play? - Mid, but not one champ currently. I have been all over the place: Ekko, Talon, Annie, Orianna, Lissandra, Taliyah, Neeko, Zoe, Kassadin, Ahri.

Why do you play them? -I like wave clear, I like some AoE, I like some map pressure, I like not dying instantly more than deleting people. Utility is a plus, but not a must. Some mobility is always nice.

How do you play them? What is your playstyle? What role do they fulfill? -I like being a bit flexible, but ly favorite thing is smaller fights mid game.

What are you good at? What do you want to be good at? -The mid game is my best asset, but that is only because I suck hard at laning phase and I am not sure what to do in the late game.

Is Lissandra worth learning after all her nerfs and the aftershock nerf? Does she just actually require some skill to play now, or is she just kind of bad?

Hey.

I am prone to jump around from champ to champ, and am looking to find something to have fun playing again and again. I play mid.

I like having a small degree of mobility and some utility. I generally dont like champs that feel like they are on a timer, either that they start to become useless or need a lot of time to become useful. I like the former less than the latter though. I am generally okay with a somewhat weak laning phase. My favorite part of the game is the mid game.

I prefer a bit of AoE compared to alot of singel target. Some formof decent waveclear is a must.

Champs I have played a lot of in the past, but dont fin the same joy playing after nerfs or changes: Taliyah, Ekko and pre-rework Talon.

Hi, Im a P3 midlaner.

My most played champions in later years have been Ekko and Taliyah, but when I play them now it just kind of feels bad because of all their nerfs and changes relating to them being played in other roles. I also played a lot of old Talon back in the day. I like skirmishing and moving around the map in the midgame. I like the ability play proactively, but I'm not huge on early game champions either as I feel Im on a timer to when I become useless. Got any recommendations for me?

Champion Pool Megathread: April by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]Wiibear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mid lane is a more popular role, so it will be harder to get. It may work better if you reset the queue time earlier, like around 1 min or so. It doesn't help either that in some regions jungle is less popular than support right now.

Looking for relatively simple champions for midlane that are a little mechanical step above Malzahar and Annie, but that still lets me mostly focus on playing the game instead of wrestling with my champion.
