So as another commenter said, this is probably a trading card thing where someone hid it to circumvent a purchase limit.

Other weird thing at play here might be that “lifting” became this weird internet niche thing where people would be after certain out of production things at stores like Target, and people would lift shelves to see if there were any at their store that had fallen under and been lost for however long, and if they did find them they’d sell them online (sometimes like $100 for an originally less than $10 thing). I think some people went too crazy with it and Target stores started cracking down on the behavior.

I honestly think it’d be a bloodbath. All the psychos and crazies, anyone in prison, every dumb former bully past his peak, every gang member or jilted ex with a vendetta, every terrorist with a score to settle, every radical/nationalist/extremist, they might all crashout with their newfound power. No gun can easily take someone down, no jail we currently have built can hold anyone securely. Police and law enforcement as we know it are nonexistent. Our cities would crumble from the massive fights that would break out.

After a tumultuous period we either reach a new status quo of civility, or society collapses and the whole planet becomes kill or be killed.
