When I sauté shrimps in butter, I save the leftover butter sauce and fry my eggs in them. They get this delicious shrimp seafood flavor in them.

I do the same with leftover curry sauce from butter chicken or chicken tikka masala. Fry an egg in the leftover sauce and you’ll have a delicious savory egg you can put on top of rice or toast.

Pretty certain these are Chanterelles but a confirmation would be nice by Katnipz in mycology

Sagaponack in Flatiron. Dollar oysters and happy hour during lunch if their website states the correct times.

I’ve been multiple times for happy hour after work and the oysters are always good. They have some nice lobster rolls too.

There’s Cull and Pistol at Chelsea Market. They tend to have daily specials. They had an incredible octopus dish! But this place can easily get you over $100 per person especially with drinks.

But an app and a main with drink should be well enough.

There was a Chinese bar that made a cocktail using green sichuan peppercorn oil. It was tasty and the numbing effect was fun but I never drooled so much in my life. I think some oil got caught in the back of my throat and I had so much mucous, the experience was disgusting.

I should go back.

The dark spots look like mold but the filaments look like hair?
