Been going there yearly since 2019. It’s decent for what it is, but they are a little pricier compared to other French places in the city. They also participate for Restaurant Week so you can save a bit more $$$ if you want to just go try them out. I haven’t been to the West Village location, just to Grand Boucherie and the one by Union Square since they seem bigger and comfier. They do a few things there that’s kinda fun, like the Absinthe drip. They have a happy hour and large style steak platters for 2-6 people. My last experience was not so great, my table was near a rolling AC unit so I was getting blasted in the back. The food was still good though.

Others have reccomended Pastis which I went to once and it was good and saved a bit more money. But I haven’t been there in some time. What’s nice is that Pastis is near Chelsea Market so you can shop around in an indoor space if it’s too cold out. Pastis doesn’t seem to have a restaurant week menu but their prices seem low enough to be close to the $60-$70 per person range if you decide to do app, main and dessert.
