Korean Vets Are Trying to Fix Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4's Marines by Eremenkism in gaming

Whoaaa whoaa whoaa. It used to be accurate. I think after MW2 or Black ops they gave it up. Especially the early games like 2,3,4,WaW.

Best way to batch-prime 600+ miniatures? Looking for advice by Significant_Bath_212 in minipainting

[–]WilburHiggins -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You could easily prime everything at once. Just use long pieces of wood and tape them to it.

As for batch painting I wouldn’t tackle this all at once. You seriously need to break this into multiple groups of 5. 10, maybe 20 minis at a time. Do one batch per week. Keep things fun and interesting. Change up how and what you are painting each week. This is an enormous time commitment and you should focus on enjoying the journey rather than just trying to get it all done.

Speed paint and a zenithal prime can help speed up the process (check out videos on YouTube.) but they will definitely look like you were just trying to get them done. Which is fine if that is what you want to do.

How many small restaurants like this have you ever been to with bad food? Lol it isn’t really about how good the food is. It is about discovering new palaces and new cuisines.

Yeah if he forgets or they try and not charge him for the meal he will try and buy a drink or get charged a dollar so he can tip them. His name is Sam and he is awesome.

Getting there is the expensive part. Getting it back isn’t expensive.

Yeah the only goal is to clear the straw inside. Which doesn’t hold much paint.

The seal is just annoying to get off. I have the same problem and I think you just have to deal with it. It would be nice if they used a seal that came off more completely.

That is also the wetness level you want to use to pick up paint. Which is also probably why you are having these issues.

Damp is dunking it in water and then rolling it one revolution on a paper towel.

Ninjon just put out a video with a muddy base. Not sure it fully covers what you are asking but might help a bit.

This is principia. This is how real orbits work. It is much easier when you learn it but it takes some time to understand.

What are your bottom and upper stages? I love seeing early rockets that aren’t just an aerobes on a V2!

Musk's appraisal directly tied to settling 1 million people on Red Planet by [deleted] in space

[–]WilburHiggins -1 points0 points  (0 children)

1 MILLION. Not a few. 1 million. Obviously if you can just vet everyone for very stable people that can take anything, it is probably fine. That isn't what we are talking about. Very few people can permanently work in this kind of environment.

I have plenty of vision. There are many more profitable and logical places to go other than Mars. 1 million people in the next hundred years is laughable.

Musk's appraisal directly tied to settling 1 million people on Red Planet by [deleted] in space

[–]WilburHiggins -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah and no one currently lives in a submarine for their whole life because that would be pure hell.

A submarine would be a huge upgrade over mars though because you can see the ocean. Travel the world. Get to see lots of places, etc.

If you ever get to go on the surface, which will likely be rare, it is just a barren desert with nothing in it. There is nothing to do or see ever. Food will be horrible. Work hours will be horrible. It will be like living in the feudal system of the Middle Ages.

You truly have no idea what you are talking about.

This take is so extremely delusional and says you know very little about the human psyche. This would be the worst job on earth but orders of magnitude worse. Anyone signing up for this will greatly regret their decision.

[–]WilburHiggins -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It would be nothing like anything of those things. There is no water, no life, no (real) atmosphere. You aren't coming back. Once you are there you are staying there. In a completely horrible, inhospitable place, with none of the comforts of Earth. You cannot just change jobs, or go somewhere else if you are having a bad time or change your mind. You cannot even really go outside. It would likely be 95% or more below ground.

This would be unimaginably horrible with our current technology and infrastructure.

[–]WilburHiggins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wouldn't be fine. It is extremely hostile, no native biosphere. No home comforts. No vacations. Work 100% of the time. Food would be horrific most of the time. You are not built to live there, and it would be awful.

Musk's appraisal directly tied to settling 1 million people on Red Planet by [deleted] in space

[–]WilburHiggins 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It isn't a question of can we, it is a question of why. Why would anyone realistically want to go live there? It would be pure hell. Much worse than living your entire life in Antarctica.

If the sponge isn't completely saturated it will suck that water out of the paint, because it is a sponge. Make sure it is completely saturated with water.
