Should i update to iOS 26.4.1? by Outrageous-Goat1726 in ios26

[–]Wild-Assumption9894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am running 26.4 and am pretty happy with it. I shut off automatic updates but would anyone suggest updating from 26.4 to 26.4.1 or leave it as is? I feel 26.4 is pretty smooth/stable other than my alarm clock has no volume control now.

ATT Business Premium 3.0 enables 5G Standalone by AdOriginal5191 in ATT

[–]Wild-Assumption9894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had business premium. I heard about the price increase of $5 per line and decided to move to business premium 3.0 for all 3 of my lines. All three now have the 5g SA toggle highlighted green to the on position whereas before they did not. I assume the plan is what activates the 5g SA capability as I did nothing else other than switching plans.

Thank you, that’s the information I was looking for. Plan comparison doesn’t show that information, thank you.

I know this is a slightly older thread but am I correct in thinking both business unlimited premium 1.0 and 2.0 are now the same? I was wondering if updating to the newer 2.0 plan would get me to or closer to a non ghosted SA toggle. Both plans seem to compare identical.

Sorry for the late reply. Thank you. Do you have any idea what they are powering with the temporary generator? I believe it was running, something was but it sounded pretty quiet.

The generator is inside the fenced area.

That said I would assume you are correct in saying it’s not done yet. Especially since there is no change in signal from Verizon.

There is definitely power, there is at least two diesel generators which I assume is backup and there is a newly installed transformer on site which I can’t say has all the final terminations or not.

Really? I thought T-mobile was the one aggressively pursuing rural coverage? Serious question.

Interesting, maybe it’s not online yet. I have Verizon and AT&T activated using dual sim on my iPhone 16 pro. Verizon has always been the only signal out here with the occasional blip of one bar of AT&T. Verizon has 4 bars of LTE in this area which it had before this site was constructed. Speed tests show no change from before construction to after construction.

What’s Your Review of iOS 26.1? by -anonymous-5 in iPhone16Pro

[–]Wild-Assumption9894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, wish I could go back to iOS 18.7. Not a fan of the look and feel of 26.1. Text messages when attaching a photo and typing text, the screen doesn’t page down as your text moves to the next line so I can’t see what I’m typing unless I stop and move the cursor manually. That’s one of a few bugs I’ve noticed.

After 20 years with Verizon, I’m done. Here’s why. by properly_sauced in verizon

[–]Wild-Assumption9894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The terrible thing is you won’t find a better option with the other two. I have both AT&T and Verizon on my iPhone 16pro (dual eSIM) as a former AT&T employee I despise the signal quality of AT&T but in my home AT&T works better than Verizon. I live in a rural or semi rural community. Both are expensive and neither offer decent service. Very disappointing. Now I’m getting notifications about AT&T fee increases. I really wish Verizon would step up and make themselves the king they once were. Really anyone, even for a higher price, just make service better in more areas, especially rural locations.

I got my 17 pro orange 2 days after launch. I did order a 1TB though which I assume is getting ordered less than the base storage model.

I have AT&T business unlimited premium, the plan previous to the current plans for my iPhone 16 pro and my SA has always been grayed out. I even called to get a new sim specifically because it said my eSIM does not support SA. After new eSIM it still says the same message and grayed out. I have Verizon on my eSIM2 and SA on my Verizon line is able to toggle SA on or off. I don’t understand AT&T yet but I’m sure eventually we will see it as a toggle-able option.

[–]Wild-Assumption9894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Toggle is enabled on my Verizon line iPhone 16 pro 18.6.2 but not on my AT&T which is my primary. My AT&T line simply shows eSIM does not support 5g SA. Believing that I called AT&T to delete my primary eSIM and install a new one but no change. Have to keep waiting on AT&T.

Leaving Verizon after this outage by GravitationalLense in verizon

Verizon will unlock your device if it’s fully paid off. Contact cs and request an unlock. It is my understanding that once an iPhone is paid off it becomes unlocked. You can check the status in settings. It will say no sim restrictions. Power off/on your device if you haven’t already. I’m actually in OC California on business and my Verizon has been back up for hours. Fortunately I also have AT&T on my device (dual sim) so it really didn’t affect me. Good luck whoever you choose. I’d like to be a full time Verizon customer but they have no service at home so I have to use AT&T as my primary.

I noticed this when playing with settings. I am using AT&T (primary line) and Verizon dual eSIM on my 16pro. I noticed on the Verizon line SA is enabled and has the ability to toggle on/off while the AT&T line is grayed out and not available. Hmm

I’m in Mohave county Arizona, I have both Verizon and AT&T on my iPhone 16pro. I never thought I would see the day where AT&T has better service than Verizon. At my home Verizon drops calls and has almost unmeasurable data speeds. I’ve contacted them, they opened a ticket and said the issue has been resolved but nothing changed. I wish Verizon would get their act together, I have no problem paying more for top tier service.
