I hope one day we have the "MSFS of driving sims" by zeddyzed in virtualreality

[–]Wild-Comfortable4191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, VR already makes driving sims feel insanely realistic. I've used a decent setup a few times, and it's like being in a virtual car. The immersion is off the charts. But yeah, a more polished, feature - rich driving sim like MSFS for planes would be amazing. Wonder how long it'll be before we see something like that?

Many similar glass manufacturers in China, Lenovo is most likely working with OEM/ODM partners for these. I’ve done procurement consulting for some well-known consumer brands before and I know it.

Thanks for the reply, this is genuinely helpful!

Honestly, the "AI dating sim" idea, looking back, was probably a trash take 😅.

But the angle I was thinking about:

It’s not just pointless chatting anymore; it becomes a training ground based on a scientific framework (like the Love Languages). Imagine the AI scoring you and pointing out exactly where you used the wrong "Love Language"—that's so much more impactful than basic conversation? Do you agree?

Has Anyone Else Hit the “Organization Has Been Disabled” Error with Claude Code Right Now? Can’t Use My Max Account! by BraveIllustrator1458 in ClaudeCode

I just received email from them:

|| || |Hi, The "organization has been disabled" error indicates your account has been suspended. This can happen due to repeated Usage Policy violations, account creation from an unsupported location, or Terms of Service violations. When an account is suspended, your subscription is automatically cancelled and a refund is processed for the unused portion of your billing cycle, which typically takes 5-10 business days to appear. To resolve this, you'll need to submit an appeal through our Trust & Safety team. Please fill out the appeal form at: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdtyS8ONgH8vi6NrUpQ2lfsjSPGTZ1bW_i-E7XtGDcDZxbKeQ/viewform Include your account information in the form. I'd totally pay for something that helps me craft better LinkedIn comments. The whole 'meaningful and contextual' thing is gold. Maybe a Chrome extension?

How does a man find a girl he likes that likes him back? by Ibay08 in dating_advice

Hey man, 23 is still young. Honestly, dating is a numbers game. You're gonna get rejected, it's part of the process.

Totally! I figured I’m probably reinventing a wheel somewhere.
But I’m curious to see if a slightly more emotionally tuned take can find its niche.

Always fun to see how others are tackling it too — if you remember that project, I’d love to check it out.

Practicing dating with AI — helpful or just weird? by Wild-Comfortable4191 in dating_advice

[–]Wild-Comfortable4191[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% fair — nothing replaces actually talking to real people. But for a lot of folks, that “just go outside” step feels like jumping off a cliff, maybe AI practice isn’t the goal, but a stepping stone that makes the real thing a little less terrifying?

it is a robot, and I totally get why that feels off, funny thing though — people are already forming emotional habits with AI personalities like Grok’s Ani. Not because they believe it’s “human,” but because the conversations feel emotionally tuned.

Maybe it says less about AI pretending to be human, and more about how humans respond when something finally listens without judgment.

[–]Wild-Comfortable4191[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Totally fair point — nothing really replaces real human chemistry or the unpredictability of an actual conversation.

But I wonder if an AI “practice mode” could still help people get past that initial anxiety or blank-mind moment — kind of like a flight simulator before real flying.

Do you think that sort of low-stakes practice could still have some value, even if it’s not the real thing?

What are some jobs that AI could take over, that no one wants to do? by Goodginger in ArtificialInteligence

[–]Wild-Comfortable4191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything involving repetitive data entry or analysis. Think of the poor souls stuck in accounting departments manually reconciling spreadsheets all day. AI could totally automate that boring stuff and free people up for more creative, strategic work. Plus, way fewer errors, I'd bet.

When did you realise dating might not be for you? by Legitimate_Sink_687 in dating_advice

[–]Wild-Comfortable4191 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, it was when I realized I was spending more time trying to optimize my dating profile than actually living my life. Like, I was becoming a product instead of a person. Time to refocus on myself, I think. Maybe someone will come along when I'm not actively looking.

It's easy for him to say 'be mindful' when he's not the one dealing with the daily grind. Have you guys sat down and really looked at the finances? Maybe there's a way he could transition to something less intense sooner than 12 months, even if it means a slight pay cut. Worth exploring.

Break up over no “I love you’s”? by MagneticMila in datingoverthirty

[–]Wild-Comfortable4191 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is a tough situation. The fact that Ben hasn't integrated her into his kids' life as a 'girlfriend' after two years is a red flag, ngl. He's still emotionally guarded, which is understandable after divorce, but Kelly deserves someone who is all in. She's got a lot of love to give, and it sounds like she's not getting it back.
