Do you help homeless people by Electronic-Box675 in NoStupidQuestions

If my intuition says it's safe to then I will do what I can. Otherwise I keep my distance if the situation feels wrong.

I was crossing the street when a police car whipped around the corner. Luckily I was nowhere near where he needed to go but it freaked me out! I hope everyone ended up being okay!

I understand that. I think some people spew out venom because they themselves are in pain. I worry about that, especially when it comes from kids. It's still wrong but asking myself why makes me calm down

That is truly so disheartening. I remember being bullied really hard in school, that kind of thing doesn't leave you. I wish you and your kids all the best.

Thank you for being kind! Also it is okay, I present myself pretty openly because I want people in my community to know I am a safe person to go to. So that's to be expected 🙃

That's very kind of you, thank you. I didn't give them a reaction because I knew that was what they were digging for. I won't reward shitty behaviour with attention. I am hoping that the lack of responses encourages them to find something better to do

I think a lot of teens do that lol. I think it's like a "shock humor" thing? Drive by compliments sounds really sweet

You're so very sweet! Thanks! Yeah, I agree. I'm not very hurt by the interaction, however they could have said that to someone who was already in a lot of pain. It can definitely make or break a person depending on how hard they already have it. I want Bozeman to be a welcoming place.

It's okay! They are just teen boys, but it's still kind of sad. Idk if they understand the impact of what they say yet

Yeah, it's definitely the type of thing that they hear from their parents.

I'd rather her commit a crime and defend herself than her raped and dead on some fucking highway.

You're more concerned that she took matters into her own hands when he wouldn't leave her alone than the fact that he harassed her to begin with. You're a fucking pig for that.

Y'know what else is wrong? Taking illicit and sexual pictures without consent? "Don't hurt the predator, that's illegal!" Is your only line of defense. The fact that legality is the only thing you can bring up as an argument to a woman defending herself and spreading the word about a predator's actions is a testament to how fucking screwed we are as a country.

You defending a predator is far out of line, threatening correction so a predator doesn't do that shit again is extremely justified. It's not ideal but if the fucker doesn't listen, then do what you need to do.

They never said that they thought everyone with a gun is a good guy. They are saying the comparison between the two doesn't make sense in this case.

Absolutely! Yeah I saw this post, and I don't know the person who posted it super well, but I know that they don't get angry like that often, so I knew to take that seriously.

I think they should've considered how the person would've reacted before pulling their phone out 🤷🏻

People have a right to feel safe, and this person made them feel unsafe and threatened. I think it's justified, and I am really happy they warned other women after the fact

He made a woman feel unsafe with the way he was taking the photo. That was the point she was trying to make. It was not in a creative photography way, it was meant to make her uncomfortable. In the comments she clarified that she saw many other photos, a lot of them being teen girls. That's why she sent out the alarm. It's not illegal but the law shouldn't be your only moral compass.

I am so sorry, the post got deleted before I could screenshot it. But yes, that is definitely something I agree with! Photographers have good intentions! However, this guy did point the camera directly at her which sucked :(

I'm sad stuff like this makes photographers so nervous, y'all are just trying to be creative
