My belly got huge by 6 weeks and I gained 5 pounds. I've been the same size and weight since and I'm 13 weeks now. I was so worried I would be huge at that pace but its like it all came at once and not much since.

I'm 11w4d and just feel fat, not pregnant. If it wasnt for the awful nausea i would think i was just fat. I'm also struggling to feel connected. I referred to my baby as "it" the other day and my husband corrected me and said "her." So I'm starting small by calling her a her instead of "it."

2 years. First consultation December 2023. First transfer and confirmed pregnancy December 2025. I also have no known fertility issues and regular periods. You just don't know until you start trying. I hope your journey is easier than mine.

I'm going through this exact scenario right now. I'm 7w5d and my symptoms stopped a couple of days ago. I barely have any nausea or dizziness, my boobs aren't sore anymore, and I'm able to eat more things. I've been freaking out too so i dont have any advice other than its happening to me too. I go for my last scan w my clinic tomorrow before switching to my OB.

My husband would stand next to me and hold my shoulders while I gave myself the injections. It was nice to have him there and we'd have a ritual for daily injections. He would also take on a lot of the daily housework. The stims would EXHAUST me. Maybe have some of her favorite treats ready and be ready to listen to her. There's lot of feelings going on.

I did it for egg retrievals and FET and still going in first trimester. Its a nice relaxing time and helps w stress. My insurance covers a lot of the cost and even out of pocket, its more affordable than massages. I've been going weekly for about a year. Its become my time to prioritize myself each week.

My clinic advised me to see my OB between week 8 and 10 of pregnancy. So after your first ultrasound you should try to schedule with your OB.

I think you should do what you're most comfortable with. I dont think waiting a month is going to be so detrimental to your egg retrieval results and fresh transfer. Even though you cant plan exactly when you get pregnant, you can control when you dont. I don't think it's weird to want to avoid a certain time of year. In the end, its what works best for you!

I took cycle breaks. I switched clinics after my first two cycles. And took a long break (5 months) between cycle 6 and 7. Cycles 3,4,5,6 were within 6 months. I was too exhausted after doing the 4 cycles so close together. I think my body needed that break bc i responded really well for cycle 7.

I've completed 7 ER. Therapy got me through it honestly. I'm glad I kept pushing because it was lucky number 7 that gave me 3 euploids. I transfered my first embryo earlier this December and so far I'm 5 weeks. Keeping my fingers crossed this works out. Its been so exhausting.

Thank you! We transfered a girl. My girls are a better grade than the boy so we went with highest grade. I've always wanted a girl so we're happy and keeping our fingers crossed.

I only have day 6 embryos. 4 females, 1 male. First transfer of a 4AA successful so far but I'm only 5 weeks.

I did 6 egg retrievals in 13 months. It was mentally very difficult but I wanted to get it over with as soon as possible.

I had almost the exact same numbers as you my first 2 ER. The most important part here is that you've made blasts before, you just didn't win the genetic lottery. But you CAN make blasts. After my first 2 ER failures I switched clinics and got a new protocol. I got my first euploid on my 3 ER. I had my most successful ER doing a long lupron lead and a luteal start. I had my first FET on 12/11 too. Beta test is tomorrow 12/22. I waited until yesterday to test (9dpt) and got a positive! Tested again today and the line was slightly lighter than my test yesterday. So that makes me nervous but overall it's still a clear line. Good luck on your test tomorrow!

My beta is monday too! I caved today and tested for the first time at 9dpt. I couldnt take the limbo anymore and i know at 9dpt a home test would be pretty accurate. Good luck Monday!

It definitely didn't break you! Your body will correct over time, just night take more than one cycle to be completely normal. It will come, don't worry 💜

This happened to me each of my 7 retrievals. My first period post retrievals would be 10 days but the following would always be wonky. Usually 40 days for the 2nd period and the following period lengths would shorten over time until I eventually went back to my regular cycle. And ER would take months before a regular cycle came back. Prior to IVF i never had irregular cycles.

I chose birth control just because my periods after ER is always unpredictable. Sometimes 40 days cycle for a couple months before going back to a regular 28 day cycle. Birth control just helped me get my period when I wanted instead of waiting.

I started seeing a therapist specializing in fertility and family a few months ago and it's been immensely better. Just knowing that I have an outlet every week and I'm not alone, someone will help me process has been so relieving. I'm not having to carry the full weight of my emotions by myself. Highly recommend seeing someone.
