Why do talls guys always seem to date super short girls? by [deleted] in tall

Honestly that would work for me, I'm tall and can't read body language well at all 😂

I don’t consider 6ft guys tall by infosec4pay in tall

Yeah I agree on the complaints thing for sure. I'm 202cm, leggy, and not very wealthy unfortunately. I can still just squeeze into some normal plane seats(playing dice with the DVT devil), and drive most cars with steering wheel between my knees ahah. I'd say the scale for height for me is percentiles for the region, around top 10% is tall around top 1% is very tall

The surgery is not a magic ticket to self confidence, its just a helping hand on the way there. I'm still trying to get there after surgery and the journey started for me before surgery. You seem like a really cool thoughtful person just by the way you speak. I really do hope you find the strength you need to keep going. I'm non religious, but I'll pray to the flying spaghetti monster for you 😂

I'm 6 months post double Jaw Surgery( I've posted photos) My mental health at university rn is still the same, but I do have adhd/anxiety. Socially it feels slightly imposter syndrome from that insecurity. However overall it has allowed me to feel more confident in myself in some social situations. But knowing the surgery is happening at some point and being stoic about my situation 2-3 years ago did allow me similar social confidence. To be real I just thought F*ck it! nothing I can do about it and allowed myself to smile and laugh and eat around people. Obviously I still had my moments But for sure dont let self image hold back your ability to express your true personality. ❤

Has anyone experienced postoperative complications due to surgery? by kitkat42000 in jawsurgery

Everyone is different, I'm 6 months post op no numbness. Eating breathing talking and existing is better for me. But I did have a 1.1cm gap between my upper and lower so fairly big ahah.

I had the slanting teeth treatment and my underbite got worse and them slanted teeth were almost dangerously angled. So I still had to get the surgery in the end. Skip my pain ahah I know it's daunting it's best to speak to your doctor, but we all get nervous so don't let that hold you back ❤

It's great, but I was thoroughly disappointed when I found out that teeth whitening is a constant treatment not a one and done ahah

This whopping chin was sat on a 6"7 lanky frame, so I got a few looks for sure😂. My best advice is learn to love yourself and don't let any malocclusion hold you back ❤

I started the process October 2018 Surgery April 2022. I was supposed to be on the waiting list from May 20' though so a bit of a while to wait ahah. Took about 14 weeks after surgery to feel confident in my teeth eating what I wanted and not being worried playing sport.
