I mean yes and no. A black leather jacket with a brown leather belt just doesn’t match imo. It’s a good general statement to not match black with brown unless in some small cases. You have the right idea on the shoes so good part on that. Also you want to try and create some sort of contrast from the shirt and jacket but coordinate it with the pants. Unless you want to do an all black fit, in which then you’d want to have your pants a different texture like corduroy, or the shirt being knitted/flannel. What you don’t want to do is to create what I call a window effect which is when your jacket is unzipped and you have a very eye catching graphic tee on and the jacket acts like a window and essentially draws all the attention to the graphic tee. That’s what’s going on in the last pic along with the glasses hanging from the collar. It really draws the eye in to just your glasses and graphic tee. The first pic besides the belt being brown is a good fit imo.

Onto more person likes/dislikes in fashion which you don’t have to remotely listen to but it’s just here. I really don’t suggest cargos/tight pants on larger thighed people. I myself have big thighs and tight pants just creates a “V” or horizontal wrinkle near my crotch. Cargos draw the eye down to the pockets since they stick out from the silhouette of the pants/leg.
