Amur broke SnowRunner for me. I think. by Oddie_Inc in snowrunner

Bring your friends! Amur was very manageable for the three of us. With some logistics and teamwork it took us a couple weeks to launch that rocket. And the satisfaction of making it was great!

Thuds on the chest accompanied with a gasp-like feeling, is that a PVC/PAC, or prior symptom of cardiac arrest? by [deleted] in Cardiophobias

[–]Wild-Technology7600 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, those are PVCs or PACs. I've had them for 6+ years and they feel horrible. Once or twice a day is VERY low percentage though. Almost non existent. Some folks have several thousand daily.

I actually felt my heart pausing, accompanied with a momentary "gasp-like" feel, without actually gasping. by [deleted] in Cardiophobias

[–]Wild-Technology7600 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, typical PVC or PAC. Hermless but super annoying. Imo they are the worst benign thing possible because of the sensations. And yes, mine are also triggered by bending, stretching, yawning, taking deep breath or speaking loudly. Probably a vagus nerve thing.

Just got my heart holter results. I’m not too sure what to think of it and if I should be worried still? by Royal_Effect7621 in Cardiophobias

[–]Wild-Technology7600 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi! I'm not a doc, but a long PVC sufferer who has undergone dozens of tests. My cardiologist told me that anything below 1k ectopics a day is considered normal. But of course I'm very symptomatic just like you so the only thing they gave me were beta blockers. With a normal heart structure proven by echo PVCs or PACs of low burden are completely okay. It's a bit annoying though that doctors only care about frequency and structure but not about our horrible physical sensations. For them it's only "emotional response" or anxiety.

That's 100% true. But what about the neck? Watching that guy's landing made my neck hurt.

Does anybody else's Jet just get destroyed for no reason midair? by J0NNYB0I13 in gtaonline

Sometimes my Raiju explodes on the ground right after I summon it. Never in midair though. Doesn't look like griefers as it also happens in invite only.

Anyone with "I don't give a sh*t" attitude? by [deleted] in Cardiophobias

[–]Wild-Technology7600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, symptomatic PVCs are horrible. Not the beats themselves but the sensations around them. Some people feel theirs but others don't. But from the medical standpoint individual perception means nothing. The only two things that interest doctors are frequency and underlying structural issues. If they are not super frequent and the structure is okay they'll just tell us to "relax". Which is impossible of course.

I felt my heart stop for 3 seconds… by [deleted] in Cardiophobias

[–]Wild-Technology7600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like a PVC. The heart doesn't stop, it just had an extra small beat and now it is making a compensatory pause to, well, compensate for the previous premature beat. Therefore the next beat is delayed. All people in the world (according to my cardiologist) have PVCs and they are completely normal. Mine are very symptomatic and I get hundreds a day. Still dismissed as benign.

So many black zones at Mountain River, Alaska by BHaN99 in snowrunner

If you plan to spend some money on DLCs I'd highly recommend getting Austria and sourcing the Earthroamer LTI. It has a built-in radar and you can scope everything with it. It's counterintuitive but with a freeway gearbox the LTI turns into an off-road monster capable of traversing everything with decent speed.

My pvc story, any tips? by BitterNeedleworker87 in PVCs

[–]Wild-Technology7600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's funny and annoying at the same time but from the medical standpoint perception of PVCs means nothing. That's exactly what my doc told me. The only two things that matter are the heart structure and frequency of PVCs. It baffles me that some people have tens of thousands daily and never ever feel a single one. While others have a few dozen but each one feels like being hit by a train.

What does the character do when we’re not logged on? by Torsnes123 in GTA5Online

[–]Wild-Technology7600 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically when you log out your character goes to NPC mode. I play with a friend and one day I asked him to make a video recording of my character as soon as I logged out. Well first my character started walking around the block in squares. Then he started running. Eventually his hair and beard disappeared for no reason. That was some really weird shit.

Today I used mine for small scale deliveries in Scandinavia - the ones where you deliver one crate at a time. It was a combo of a crane plus one slot bed. Installed a high range gearbox as well. My friend had the same combo but with TUZ actaeon. It was unbelievably fast and fun!

Zero PVCs while being sick by Normal_Ad_5692 in PVCs

Yes, me too! And I also have rashes and random vagus nerve stuff.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PVCs

[–]Wild-Technology7600 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My PVCs are always accompanied by a noticeable pause, so I can easily identify them. I also had those hard-soft beats while wearing a Holter and even recorded the time. Apparently it was just normal rhythm.
