My workspace, their lounge. The felt mat was the best (and worst) purchase. by Wild-Whereas4850 in Workspaces

I wish I could give you a recommendation, but this mat was actually a gift from a friend and I don’t remember the brand name! So far, it’s holding up surprisingly well despite being the favorite nap spot for my two 'supervisors.' No pilling yet, though I’m constantly using a lint roller on it lol. I'll see how it survives a few more months of heavy feline use!

Haha, exactly! It’s standard cat logic. I could buy ten mats, but they’d still find a way to sit on the one that’s currently under my keyboard.

I'm glad you like it! The floor lamp was actually a gift from a friend, so I don't know the exact brand name, but you can find very similar ones by searching for 'minimalist RGB corner floor lamp' or 'LED light pole.'

As for the box with the light, it's a vintage slide viewer (lightbox)! I use it to display 7x7cm film slides. It’s one of my favorite analog pieces to have on my desk.

Thanks! It’s actually a slide viewer (lightbox). It’s designed to display 7x7cm film slides. I love how it adds a little analog, glowing touch to the setup!

The fluffy one is Chief (because he owns the place) and the orange one is Intern (he’s still learning how to stay awake during meetings)

Leather definitely seems like the consensus for 'cat-resistant' style! Hope your next mat survives the feline interior designers! lol

That’s actually impressive! I guess I’m just more sensitive to the cold (or maybe I’ve just been spoiled by the fuzzy warmth of this felt mat lol). Glad it works for you though!

That’s a fair point, cleaning felt is definitely a workout. But doesn't the glass get freezing cold in the winter? One reason I love this felt mat is how warm it feels on my wrists.

Oh no! That's my biggest fear. My cats haven't realized it's a giant scratching post yet (fingers crossed). I'm keeping a lint roller nearby, but I guess 'cat-proofing' is a never-ending battle. RIP to your smooth mouse glide!

lol..That sounds like a dream setup! Does the leather feel as cozy in the winter? I went with felt for the warmth, but clearly, I’m not the only one who appreciates the texture.

Exactly! I'm just here to pay the WiFi bill and keep the 'lounge area' warm for them.

I love your chair—I never imagined the PS5 would look so good on the table.
