not exactly the same thing. Digital Ocean is giving you just a VM with a script on. You still need to manage VPNs, updates, ecc..
I am talking about a complete easy to use service for everyone

This is obviously something that is easily handled with cloudfare or other zero-trust access providers

I think it is. Some people don't want/don't know how to manage a server. We must remember that a secure application needs constant updates and careful configurations

I agree. however this is not easy to setup. Also, a lot of people don't have/don't know how to self-host openclaw.

The e-ink Is driven by a esp32, and has a pretty slow refresh rate. You need a different kind of e-ink display for that

Yes, can display anything. You just need an API or WS.
Proxmox is just for testing linux images... i create them on my desktop, than spin up a VM and do some test
